Nimble, dynamic, and exhilarating are all adjectives that spring to mind when you think of the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T for sale. A more elegant version of the rather brittle Ferrari FF, the Ferrari Lusso T outstrips its preceding model on almost every aspect. It has better dynamics, a sleeker design, and not to mention the extra engine choice.

Introducing a whole new Ferrari Grand Touring concept, the Lusso T promises a sporty, versatile performance that’s also perfect for daily driving.

But does it live up to its promise?

Here’s everything you need to know:

The Lusso T swaps out the 6.3-liter, V12 powertrain of the 2019 GTC4Lusso for a two turbocharged 3.9-liter V8. And while power has dropped from 680hp to 602hp, torque levels have gone up. The V8 produces 561 lb-ft – a significant improvement from the 514 lb-ft of the V12.

The GTC4Lusso T also drops the all-wheel drivetrain of the V12, and in the process sheds about 120lbs. This takes the 0 to 62mph time to 3.5 seconds – a tenth of the time it takes the 4WD V12. Both models have a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T accelerates from 0-125 mph in 10.8 seconds and reaches a tantalizing top speed of 199 mph. The V12's extra power allows it to reach a top speed of 208 mph. The Lusso T has 25% better fuel efficiency compared to the GTC4Lusso. It boasts MPG ratings of 15 and 21 for city and highway driving, respectively. The GTC4 Lusso, on the other hand, is rated at 12 MPG for city cruising and 17 MPG on the highway.

The cabin is lined with high-end leather, carbon-fiber, and aluminium detailing. The front seats are luxurious, and well shaped to allow comfortable seating for extended periods. Additionally, the unique Dual Cockpit architecture and switchgear are perfectly aligned to complement the car's interior. The dashboard has few physical buttons since most of the controls are located on the steering wheel. Non-driving controls can be accessed through the user-friendly infotainment system. The four-seater capability has never been a problem for Ferrari cars in this range, but the Ferrari Lusso T provides enough space for more than just luggage. The rear area can fit large items like bicycles, skis, and strollers.

The moment you start the car, you’ll instantly know which powertrain the Lusso you’re driving has. The V12 gives a rich, complex note. On the other hand, the V8 of the Lusso T has a smooth and plainer sound similar to that of a four-cylinder engine. What both models have in common is the smooth, compliant handling that springs to life when you set the Maettino dial to “Comfort”. The V8's twin-turbo unit is highly responsive and nicely compliments the Lusso T's snappy, easy-shifting dual-clutch box to give the ride a smooth handling. It also revs briskly and smoothly to the 7500rpm redline, making the car feel as quick as it is. The Lusso T bark also boasts of clean, free-revving urgency that allows high revs.

Where can you find a used Ferrari GTC4Lusso T for sale?

The GTC4Lusso T combines two of the most important features of a luxury car in one unit: supercar pace and sleek design. The lack of all-wheel capability shouldn't be a deal-breaker because you'll rarely need the extra grip for city and highway driving. If you’re looking for a 2018 Ferrari GTC4Lusso T for sale, look no further than duPont Registry. Our website has a multitude of options for all Ferrari models, including brand new and used cars. With a little browsing, you’ll certainly find something that suits your budget and lifestyle.
