The 612 in the name comes from the engine’s details, with the 6 alluding to a rounded-up number of its displacement, and the 12 pointing to its 12 cylinders. It’s mated to the F1 gearbox, which features the F1-SuperFast gear-changing strategy that cut gear shifts down to just 100 milliseconds.

Pouring from the V12 and through that F1 gearbox is 532 hp and 434 lb-ft, pulling this luxury four-seater to a top speed of 198.8 mph while taking only 4.2 seconds to reach 62 mph from an absolute standstill. A powerful punch from a historically invaluable model.
