The 512 TR, while dramatically improved over the original Testarossa, was only available for the 1*number in the description* model years, and just 2,261 examples were built. This combination of rarity and meaningful improvements makes them exceptionally desirable. This particular car is an outstanding turnkey collector-grade example of this iconic model. Superbly preserved and maintained, recent major service performed, low mileage, Classiche-certified, and complete with original books and tools, this example ticks all the boxes for the enthusiast seeking a top drawer example of the definitive variant of one of Ferrariâs most iconic models. This particular 512 TR was sold new on the 30th of November 1994 by Ferrari of Denver to a woman residing in Park City, Utah. She retained the car for approximately 20 years, covering 7,300 miles during that period. Since 2015, the car has passed through the hands of a few enthusiastic Ferrari collectors, who have continued to maintain the car in its current original and beautifully preserved state. A Ferrari Classiche certification was performed in 2015 and the car comes with its red book.

A unicorn among Ferrariâs lineage of coveted 90s hero cars, this 1992 Ferrari 512 TR Prototype presents in iconic Rosso Corsa over a Nero leather interior. With a reported 2,280 units having left Ferrariâs Maranello works by 1994, it is believed that only 408 were imported to the United States. Further, this early car stands as 1 of 2 pre-production US-market 512 TR Prototypes. Defining Pininfarina bodywork features pop-up headlights, five-spoke alloy wheels, and deep side strakes, while the two-seat interior opens to Connolly leather upholstery, benefitting from subtle changes over its predecessor for improved comfort and usability.Â  . This Prototypeâs updated seat ergonomics, a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel, dashboard, and console showcase a pivotal moment in time and diligent preservation. Additional factory equipment consists of power windows, power-adjustable side door mirrors, air conditioning, and center console gauges. An aftermarket Eclipse AM/FM/CD stereo counts as the only significant interior modification. Service documentation states non-expense-spared routine care, including a recent engine out service. This 21k-mile Ferrari is accompanied by associated ownerâs literature, Schedoni leather luggage, a toolkit, car cover, fire extinguisher, and clean CarFax history. For the passionate Ferrarista or exotic collector eyeing a truly significant next acquisition, this pre-production 512 TR is a prime candidate. . Serving as a re-engineered version of the Ferrari Testarossa, the 512 TR (TR abbreviating Testarossa) was introduced for model year 1992. Multiple updates to the mid-engined 12-cylinder flagship targeted both appearance and mechanical underpinnings. Aerodynamic styling enhancements paired with improved weight distribution, updated air intakes, engine management, headwork, and exhaust elevating output to 428hp and 362 lb-ft of torque. From the driverâs seat, tactile improvements yielded faster gear changes of the 5-speed gated manual transaxle.Â  Â
