Actress Drew Barrymore has splashed out $6.9 million on a six-bedroom mansion in one of California’s most exclusive neighbourhoods. The Charlie’s Angels star is moving to a sprawling three-acre estate in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, where famous residents include Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges and Rob Lowe.

Her new home is a three-story Mediterranean-style mansion with five bathrooms, a pool and a spa, celebrity website RadarOnline reports. She had recently been spotted house hunting in Montecito, a super-wealthy enclave of 10,000 residents.
The home features a guest wing that contains two bedrooms and an office, a traditional-looking wood-paneled living room with fireplace, and four garage bays. There's a little guest house off the main house, some dressing space off the master bedroom, and there are built-in bookcases everywhere.

With a striking glassed-in porch that serves as a long and luxurious sunroom. Further blurring inside and out , the formal dining room has a large paned picture window so that the flowers outside seem part of the room. There's a bedroom fireplace and simply gorgeous grounds for connecting with nature. The property itself is dotted with oaks and hydrangeas, as well as having areas of rolling lawn.
