America's Most Expensive Home

You better put your comfy shoes on because you are about to go on a tour in the 56,500 square feet French chateau-style mansion owned by, the widow of producer Aaron Spelling, Candy Spelling. The largest home in Los Angeles County lies on 4.7 acres and shares the neighborhood with Los Angeles Country Club and the Playboy Mansion. The lavish “W” shaped mansion has “countless” rooms from a barber shop-beauty salon to rooftop rose garden. Here is a brief list with some of the features of this “home”:

Arcade
Bowling alley
China room
Gift-wrapping room
Entire floor dedicated to closet space
Humidity-controlled silver storage room
“Movie Theater” room with a projection system that automatically comes up from the floor at the same time that shades extend over the windows
Skating rink
Wine cellar and tasting room

Are you tired yet? Keep up with me; we need to go outside now. Some outdoor features include tennis court, swimming pools, fountains, waterfall, and 18th century-style garden with a citrus orchard. If you love to entertain friends and family, this is your house. Besides all the features mentioned above, the mansion has a wing for service staff with seven bedrooms.  And if you are worried with parking, don’t be! This property can accommodate more than 100 cars on its winding motor court.   America’s most expensive home, The Manor, has a price tag of $150,000,000.

This mansion is also slightly bigger than the White House. If you could choose between The Manor and The White House, which one would you like to live in?
