Trip Advisor’s number one island sits in the Caribbean as an offshore haven near a gorgeous barrier reef and is rapidly becoming one of the hottest markets in the world. He went on to chronicle Belize’s significant increase in travel accessibility, saying, "Just this year, Southwest Airlines flights to Belize has brought more than one thousand additional visitors per week."

Undoubtedly, Belize is quickly becoming both a tourist destination and investment property. From the tropical surroundings to the vibrant culture and friendly atmosphere, it’s no wonder Ambergris Caye is the place Madonna longs for in her song “La Isla Bonita”, singing “I fell in love with San Pedro, warm wind carried on the sea, he called to me…”
