Lingenfelter Camaro SS runs 10-second quarter-mile

Lingenfelter’s 2010 Camaro SS equipped with the ZR1’s LS9 engine ran an impressive 10.36 quarter mile at a trap speed of 139.95 mph during the Camaro5Fest at the South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, Georgia, on April 18.

"This specially prepared Camaro SS—which boasts the Lingenfelter ZR1 LS9 engine, several Lingenfelter ZR1 supercharger upgrades, and a TR6060 manual transmission—is our latest project vehicle to showcase more than 30 years of performance engineering experience," said Owner Ken Lingenfelter.

Other upgrades include a Lingenfelter high-flow supercharger snout, Corsa performance exhaust, American Racing headers, Lingenfelter twin-disk clutch, and a variety of engine bits designed by Lingenfelter for the LS9. The car wears 16-inch Hoosier slicks wrapped around CCW three-piece aluminum wheels.
