Bentley announced a starting price of $192,750 for the Bentley Series 51 Continental at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Series 51 package will be available on all GT and GTC models including their Speed variants. The Series 51 is a designer package in the same vein as the Lamborghini Murcielago Versace. It offers a palette of tasteful colors and designs concocted by Dirk van Braeckel and his team of designers. The number “51” is a dedication to the year 1951; the first year the styling department was established in Crewe and helped shape the Bentley Continentals of the 1950s. Besides the custom-tailored nature of the vehicle, the Series 51 can be spotted via small badges just past the front wheels.
