Blind man breaks his own world land speed record

A South African man has reportedly broken his own land-speed record for a blind man by piloting a Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series to 200 mph. He held that speed for 3,280 feet before slowing and was assisted by a friend that sat in the passenger’s seat. His previous record was set in 2005 when he piloted a Masearti GranSport to 167 mph.

After setting the new record, the man said his next mission was to pilot a Boeing jet from London to Johannesburg.
