Hennessey was the first tuner to bring a complete and reliable performance package to market for the 2010 Camaro with its ZR-1-powered 700-hp version of the Chevy car. Though not the first, famous Corvette-tuner Lingenfelter has just raised the bar and an announced its own more-powerful package. A twin-turbocharged 7.0-liter LS7 aluminum V-8 is responsible for the mighty 800 hp and 800 lbs.-ft. of torque that will be on tap.
Other modifications include a new front splitter, front fascia with rocker extension, hood with built-in air extractors, new rear fascia, new exhaust, rear lip spoiler, and new tail lamps.
Maybe the horsepower war isn’t dead.
