Hot or Not: HPP's Trans-Am Camaro conversion?

Heide Performance Products (HPP) will unveil its Trans-Am concept at the 2010 SEMA show. The converted Camaro pays tribute to the 1969 Pontiac Firebird, the first year the Trans-Am package was offered.

This car is okay.  It's a decent resemblance of the original T/A, but it's a little gawdy with those exaggerated accessories (exhaust tips, fender vents and grille) to try to make it look closer to the '69.  The back end kind of looks like a mid '70's "pro-street" Chevy Monza was cut-and-pasted onto a Camaro.
Pluses (to me) - great hood, nice front bumper and airdam, rims are suiting and the hood and roof stripes are bang on!
Sorry Heide, but Lingenfelter's rendition of a retro Trans Am (styled after the '71 HD) is much easier on the eye and in my opinion, closer to what Pontiac could've come up with if they were "still alive".
Still though, at good run at bringing back the '69.
