Ferrari World, Ferrari’s first theme park and Abu Dhabi’s latest tourist attraction, is all set to open on October 27, 2010, a day earlier than originally planned. The theme park centers on the exotic-car brand with 20 Ferrari-based rides, simulators, and attractions. The roof is also designed to captivate, especially from an airplane’s view. The Ferrari GT-body-inspired 2,200,000-square-footmeter roof is painted in Ferrari Red and features the world’s largest Ferrari logo. Besides being the world’s largest indoor theme park, Ferrari World will also feature the world’s fastest rollercoaster; the ride, called Formula Rossa, reaches a top speed of 150 mph.

Ferrari World is a part of Aldar Properties $40-billion Yas Island project, which includes a Formula One grand prix track, shopping mall, apartments, golf courses, marinas, and hotels.
