This 992 Turbo takes its power from a new 3.7-Liter engine, able to produce 572 bhp, and together with the 8-Speed PDK Transmission, this 3,636-pound 911 can reach 100 km/h from standstill in 2.6 seconds. The driving experience is unique, with enough cornering grip for those track days, but also a fantastic option for an everyday car. The 18-way adaptive sport seats are firm, and the cockpit is close-fitting, but there’s not a touch of cheapness to be seen. All the finishes and touchpoints are uniformly beautiful and satisfying to the eyes as well as the fingers.

Grand Prix White (L908) with Black Partial Leather (LT) interior. Reported to be 1 of 267 Wide Body 911 Carrera 4 Coupe’s delivered to North America and this being 1 of 13 delivered to Canada. Of those North American examples produced 29 were in Grand Prix White. This Carrera is even more special to us as we have documentation showing our services from when it came out of Ontario in 2003 when it had just over 14,000kms. The 911 was presented to North America in 1964 therefore this 964 was meant to remembered as “30 Years of Excellence”. If you are searching for a unique and rarely ever seen air-cooled Porsche – this, is it.
 
 
Power is provided by a 3.6L flat-six engine, producing 250hp & 229ft/lbs of torque, driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The 964 was a contemporary take on the classic two-door sports car and came at a time when many were predicting the end of the 911 as Porsche was producing the 944 and working on the upcoming 968. The 911 had been around for some time and that meant that the 964 needed a significant update and Porsche delivered on that promise with 85% new components and virtually none of the predecessor’s architecture carried forward.
 
 
The fully mechanical all-wheel drive system was revolutionary for its time, sensing wheels slippage and automatically transferring power elsewhere, ensuring that the driver could maintain a greater degree of control whenever the driving environment became less manageable. The 964 generation is known as the sweet spot in the model's history by retaining a classic look but still being relatively modern. Finding a 964 in good condition is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
