In the early 2010s, it felt like Ferrari was falling behind. Long a household name in luxury sports cars, the rise of high-end vehicles from lower-tier manufacturers like Bentley, Mercedes, etc. and the lack of regular innovation made it feel like Ferrari was a thing of the past. Then came the twin-turbo Ferrari Portofino for sale.

In classic Ferrari showmanship, the Portofino was unveiled in a small Italian Riviera village of its namesake, with the who’s who of luxury carmakers at the event. Lauded as the most forward-thinking design in Ferrari’s recent history, the Portofino marries the ease of a GT car with the classic Ferrari sportsmanship.

The result is exquisite - one of the finest luxury sports cars ever developed, in aesthetics, performance & soul. Don’t compromise on performance

Although the Portofino is technically Ferrari’s entry-level model, it certainly doesn't handle like one. With a monster 591-hp twin-turbo 3.9-liter V-8 that takes you from zero-to-60 in under 3 and a half seconds and a top speed well over 200 mph, the Ferrari improves on it’s previous California T model by pairing that monster engine with intense driveability - light steering, classic carbon-ceramic brakes and adaptive suspension.

With a whopping seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a steering wheel-mounted classic Manettino dial, the Portofino delivers juice out of those gorgeous exhaust pipes in a way you can feel. All this buffeted by great fuel mileage, as the Portofino rarely cracks 1,500 RPM on comfort settings and let the car breeze along.

Make no mistake: the Portofino isn’t a Spider that sits in a garage all year until you want to go racing on a track. It's an everyday car that can run along with the best of them - and that’s the beauty of this model.

The Portofino is right at home, whether you’re zooming along the autobahn taking advantage of your adaptive systems, or whether you're at home navigating tight turns and winding roads.

Let’s call it the swiss-army Ferrari.

There is no car maker in history that’s been quite as iconic as the classic Ferraris over the decades - it’s gorgeous silhouette is instantly recognized the world over. The Portofino carries on that tradition - marrying a few new design choices with the classic Ferrari body. Forged painted rims, brake calipers, chromed sports exhaust pipes, electrochromic rearview mirrors - these handmade beauties spared no expense in delivering luxury at every inch.

On the inside, practically everything is constructed in beautiful custom fiber - from the dashboard inserts to the cup holders and driver zone LEDs, the classic Manettino steering wheel feels right at home in a gorgeous interior. From White on Cuoio to Grigio-Nero and beyond, many of the famous color palettes in Ferrari’s repertoire come ready to grace the Portofino for years to come.

So, slide over to comfort, let your hair back, and enjoy the most comfortable and exciting ride delivered by a sports car in recent memory - the new legend, the used Ferrari Portofino.

The 2019 Ferrari Portofino for sale is dubbed the fabled brand’s current entry-level model with prices starting at $215,000. The Portofino is a grand touring sports car with a two-door, hardtop convertible body style. It is the successor of the Ferrari California T model and sets out to showcase a more practical and functional side of Ferrari while remaining true to the automaker’s roots. As an integrated hardtop convertible, drivers can transform the Portofino from a sports coupe to an airy tourer in just 14 seconds flat to accommodate their mood or the weather. As only Ferrari can do, the car remains the center of attention on any street regardless of the roof position. As the replacement for the California T, the design team focused heavily on slimming down the body of the vehicle and enhancing the level of power. The curb weight was reduced to 3,668 pounds (145 pounds lighter than the California T) by making minor alterations such as thinner, magnesium seat frames. Meanwhile, the twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine was fine-tuned to produce an extra 39 ponies. Paired with rear-wheel drive and electronic power steering, this is an all-season Ferrari with the capacity to accommodate four passengers. Although the rear seats are small, the driver and passengers’ seats are quite roomy compared to other models and can be set to 18 different positions to achieve maximum comfort. Likewise, the dashboard is one of the most intuitive featured in any Ferrari model to date; making this Ferrari a pleasure to drive regardless of how far drivers are traveling. The Portofino may have been designed as an entry-level model but with its 0-60 mph acceleration speed of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph, it certainly doesn’t feel like a basic model.
