The 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe represents an iconic era in automotive design, characterized by its art deco styling and elegant lines. This year marked a significant shift towards more streamlined and aerodynamic designs in the automotive industry and as one of Chevrolet's premium offerings and showcased advanced features and a refined style for its time.  This particular '39 beauty features early Corvette design elements for a beautiful custom design that is nothing short of stunning. The headlight stone screens, taillights, license plate housing, rear bumpers and custom "'39 Corvette" rear badging are all inspired by the first-year 1953 Corvette. This homage extends to the paint, a custom blend inspired by GM's Ermine White, the exclusive color for the '53 Corvette.  Known as 'Not Quite White', it has been professionally laid over a sectioned body which gives it a lowered, more aggressive stance and eye-catching appearance. It truly is a remarkable blend of classic charm and modern performance!  The interior follows suit, with red upholstery and C1 Corvette-inspired gauges and dual hump dash, echoing the classic Corvette style. With a full custom red leather interior done by Tom Sewell in San Luis Obispo, CA, the craftsmanship is evident in every detail, and includes such features as air conditioning, tilt steering, and power windows.  The LS2 motor under the hood is a nod to modern Corvette power, a feature found in the C6 Corvette. The vehicle's suspension system features tubular A-arms with adjustable coilovers in the front and a Jaguar Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) system, which is renowned for its engineering excellence and a popular choice for custom car builds and restomods. The powerful 6.0L V8, which, according to our consignor, dyno'd at 400 RWHP, provides a perfect mix of reliability and high performance. Paired with a smooth 4-speed automatic 4L60E transmission, power steering and 4 wheel disc brakes, the drive is comfortable and responsive. This 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Restomod is a full uniform custom build.  It's the kind of thoughtful layout where not only do the interior and exterior coordinate, but even the engine bay and undercarriage, too. And there are so many unique details that you're sure to take home some trophies.  That's why you're already hooked on this one even before you check out the fuel-injected V8, comfy features (including A/C), overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and adjustable air ride suspension.  Sapphire and silver make a terrific two-tone that's perfect for a car like this.  After all, this Chevy's steel body has been treated like precious metal.  These quality DuPont paints have been laid down with a professional hand and plenty of clearcoat on top.  So while the investment in the paint alone is often more than what others spend on their whole car, the result is an award-worthy shine.  Flowing fenders, mirror-like bumpers, and an Art Deco grille show off the best of a classic vibe.  But the more you look, the more you'll also notice some very unique features that you won't find in other street machines. For example, the headlights are a hand-crafted custom utilizing Harley V-Rod headlight buckets.  This also has a one-piece windshield, custom engine covers, and a cool eclectic cowl vent. The 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels really set the one apart as a true restomod build.  And because all eyes will be on you wherever you arrive, the adjustable air ride suspension lets you dial in the ideal stance on demand.  With only about 7k miles on the car, the interior has a fresh look that lets you fully appreciate the full custom build.  This was created by Steve Holcomb at Pro Auto, and the full light gray package inside looks like an extension of the exterior's silver.  So your first impression of the interior is a thoughtful setup even before you see the detailed quality of the leather.  There are all the best comfort features, including cold blowing air conditioning, power windows, and an AM/FM/CD stereo mounted in the headliner.  There's plenty of comfort for everyone, but this one remains a driver's car at its heart. That's why your bucket seat power adjusts to the ideal position.  The leather-wrapped Billet Specialties "Hole Shot" steering wheel is on a tilt steering column.  And beyond that is a full set of Classic Instruments All-American Limited Edition gauges.  The engine bay is part of the full showcase, too. The inner walls and firewall are smooth, and the custom overs hide all the wires and hoses of this modern heart.  It's a fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 V8 that was borrowed from the final-gen Pontiac Trans Am. It's supported by the right pieces, like a Street  Performance Billet front accessory belt system, a Walker trans cooler, an electric fan, and the battery relocated to the trunk.  This V8 fires up with a terrific tune as ceramic-coated headers feed the glasspack style dual exhaust.  Take some extra time to check out the super-clean undercarriage.  Not only will it have you putting a mirror under this one at the shows, but it's also built with terrific components.  This includes a strong Fatman chassis, a tubular A-arm front end, four-link rear, rack  pinion power steering, and Wilwood four-wheel disk brakes with drilled  slotted rotors.  It makes for quite a solid custom, and so they also made sure it was easy to take everywhere.  That's why you have a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-ready overdrive. This 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Town Sedan may be past its 80th birthday, but the authentic exterior, comfy cloth interior, and smooth motor all let you know that all those decades have come with the right respect and investments.    This is a great piece of American history.  1941 was the last full production year before the change to WWII manufacturing, and so this was for one of the lucky few that had a "new" car through the war.  It instantly makes this two-door significant, and it wears its history with pride.  So it looks distinct with the wave-like grille, nice chrome bumpers, and the full-length belt line trim that's straight and complete like an almost unbroken line. Even the wheels are a detailed package with white pinstriping.  The trim tag tells us this was born an Admiral Green car.  It has been updated to a lighter/cheery shade later in life, but it has aged correctly so that it will just make some people assume you have a barn find (we won't even charge you extra to keep your secret.)  The interior does a nice job of being comfortable without losing the barn find feeling.  The multiple shades of tan all seem to be in harmony on the carpeting, door panels, dash, and cloth seats.  True to this two-door sedan's name, there's a spacious setup with plenty of room on both rows of seats.  The large rear side windows even still roll down. So it's easy to take along those who appreciate a proper pre-war classic.  They really kept this looking classic, right down to the factory-style steering wheel and stylish symmetrical dash.    Chevy's inline-six was the backbone of the company for decades, so it's a welcomed sight under the hood. Famous for its durability and smoothness, you'll find that this is an easy car to love.  The motor starts easily with a great six-cylinder easy-going tune from the single tailpipe.  It feels smooth out on the road, and you'll love the control that the three-speed manual transmission gives you over this classic powerplant.  This is the pre-war sedan that knows how to be quite charismatic.  There have been good investments over the decades to keep this feeling quite authentic, complete, and a true cruiser.
