To whom it may concern:
This letter is to express my appreciation to the duPont Registry staff for their efforts. I recently sold a 1964 Porsche 356C coupe as a direct result of advertising through the duPont Registry, the magazine publication of duPont Publications, Inc. The duPont Registry reaches a world wide group of qualified buyers of exotic, luxury, and collector's vehicles. My advertisement ran in their October, November, and December issues (2014), the annual months of valuable exposure to the automobile auction market. Sharing advertising space with professional dealers and brokers gave me access to a limited but prestigious buyer group. The magazine's advertisement space that was provided for me equaled that of the dealers and brokers. I enjoyed numerous referrals through secure email notices; my following up on the referrals was simplified through duPont Registry. I contacted those who expressed interest, and informed them of my advertisement in the duPont Registry web site, which described the car in detail (photographs, description, technical specifications, and the vehicle’s history). The web site advertisement (which ran until my exotic car was sold) was changed, corrected, or modified at my requests; all responses by the magazine staff were timely or immediate. When the duPont Registry initially exposed my car to the collector's market, I received many requests for more detailed information. Word of mouth then became apparent by the increased number of inquiries I received. Thankfully, I was able to communicate the true nature of this exceptional example of the Porsche 356C, by referring prospective buyers to duPont Registry's web site advertisement of my car. This was the second time I enjoyed a professional relationship with duPont Registry. By selling two exotic cars to members of a limited group, I have grown to appreciate the skill and knowledge that the staff posses. The people at duPont Restry displayed the friendly cooperation and coordination required to do business with an elitist group of buyers.
