When you see a Mercedes for sale, it’s much more than just a car that you can purchase. You’re buying a piece of automotive history, the result of more than 100 years of innovation and research, which MB has used to continually create the finest cars the world has seen. The German manufacturer could arguably be the oldest manufacturer of cars still in existence today, and those who own one of their cars are a privileged group.

The latest models have simultaneously pushed further into the worlds of technological advancement and practicality, finding that beautiful cross-section where new technology and ease of use meet. Whether in a new SUV or a pre-owned sedan, drivers can rest assured that they’re in one of the safest and most comfortable cars on the road.

It began with Karl Benz in 1886, when he was awarded the patent for his three-wheeled motorwagen. Two years later, his wife Bertha became both the first female driver and the first person to drive a car “cross-country.” That same year, engineer Willhelm Maybach and Gottlieb Daimler added a gasoline engine to a stagecoach. Maybach, Daimler, and Benz worked closely together to develop the first Mercedes car. It was another 13 years before the sale of these cars to the general public, and it was marketed by Daimler’s company. Benz and Daimler decided to merge their two companies in 1926, creating the Daimler-Benz company, which first introduced the name current name for their production cars.

With a legacy that stretches back to so many of the automotive industry’s “firsts,” is it any surprise that an MB dealer is always active? Be sure to browse our listings certified Mercedes to find the perfect car for your life. Whether you’re interested in finding the ideal car to lease or to buy, one of our trusted dealers can assist you with the process.
