Growing up in Europe I was very aware of the cool factor of an Alpina BMW. But here in the States, American car fans have not had much exposure to this unique partnership. With the introduction of the ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe, that is changing, but a little education may be required. The relationship between BMW and Alpina is a formal one, but different from their own 'M' GmbH division. Alpina's end product is a very stylish and luxurious take on an already great product.
