Offered here is a 1967 Series 1 Jaguar XKE Roadster with 33,844 original miles. Finished in its original color of Willow Green, this is a fantastic example. This car comes with amazing documentation including, the original window sticker and original bill of sale, a certificate of authenticity, 30 + years of service records and restoration records, original service booklet with dealer stamps and original factory warranty document. This is a two-owner car, last owner bought it from the original owner in 1969. This example spent its entire life in Oregon and California and is one of the best driving E types we have ever had. This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II roadster that was produced in March 1970 and is finished in Willow Green over a Suede Green interior. Power comes from a 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, and equipment includes a black soft top, dual Stromberg carburetors, and chrome wire wheels. A top-end rebuild and overhauls of the carburetors were conducted under prior ownership, while the servicing of the fuel, cooling, and suspension systems were conducted in preparation for the sale. Award recognition includes multiple JCNA best-in-class awards.The body was partially refinished in its factory color of Willow Green during prior ownership and is paired with a black soft top. Additional features include exposed headlights, chrome-finished bumpers with guards, and tail lights positioned below the bumpers. Imperfections are noted in the chrome bumpers, over-riders, and soft top.Chrome-finished 15â wire wheels are secured with two-eared knock-offs and wear 205/70 Michelin Defender tires installed in 2018. A matching spare wheel fitted with a Michelin redline tire is stored in the rear compartment, and braking is managed by four-wheel discs.Cabin finishes include Suede Green upholstery accompanied by matching door panels and carpeting as well as a black dashboard. A functioning Panasonic radio is linked to speakers fitted within the center stack, and lap belts are provided for both occupants.The 4.2-liter XK inline-six is equipped with a pair of rebuilt Stromberg carburetors and received a top-end rebuild under prior ownership. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. Work completed in preparation for the sale included servicing of fuel tank, carburetors, and alternator wiring as well as replacement of the coolant hoses, steering rack mounts and bellows, and front suspension bushings.

The car is finished in Pale Primrose Yellow with a black soft top over matching vinyl upholstery, and additional features include a wood-rimmed steering wheel, exposed headlights, four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rears, and polished knock-off wire wheels. Maintenance within the last year is said to have included replacement of the radiator, thermostat, ignition wires, camshaft covers, brake master cylinder, and rear calipers. The Series 1.5 XKE featured early-style taillights mounted above the rear bumper as well as exposed headlights that were similar to the Series 2 models. This example is finished in Pale Primrose Yellow, and exterior features include a louvered hood, a black soft top, and dual central exhaust outlets. The windshield washer reservoir and pump were reportedly replaced during current ownership, and the windshield wiper motor has also been rebuilt.The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets protected by rubber Jaguar-branded floor mats. LED bulbs have been added to the dash, and amenities include a central arm rest, a locking glovebox, rocker switches for vehicle functions, and an analog clock that was reportedly rebuilt and converted to use a AAA-size battery in 2017.A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer that was rebuilt in 2015. A quartet of auxiliary gauges in the center console include displays for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors that were reportedly overhauled in 2015. Additional work at that time is said to have included flushing the fuel tank and replacing the fuel sending unit and the clutch release cylinder. A Lucas fuel pump was installed in 2017, the starter and alternator were rebuilt in 2018 and Series I-spec camshaft covers were installed that same year, and the cooling system was overhauled in 2020 with an aluminum radiator, rebuilt fan motors, and a replacement thermostat and temperature sensor.Engine block stamping 7E15403-9 shown above matches the number stamped on the chassis plate viewable in the gallery.
