As Ford Intended  Sitting on the factory frame rails is the original steel, un-chopped body just like the day it rolled off the line in Detroit.  All Ford Underpinnings  Keeping it all in the Ford family, the 302 is backed by a Ford C4 automatic transmission shifted via a column mounted shifter. In the rear is a Ford nine-inch rearend held in place with leaf springs. The factory style suspension has been updated with modern shock absorbers and split-wishbone trailing arms to help keep this sedan running down the road straight and true. This 1933 Ford Sedan is quite a unique machine.  It has the classic lines you love.  But lurking beneath the skin is some serious big block power.  And with other upgrades - like air conditioning - this is an all-around fun custom that was made to be driven.  The first impression of this one is just a great classic pre-war Ford.  After all, this steel body sedan keeps the correct amount of vintage style, right down to the vinyl roof, swoopy fenders, and a cool double set of suicide doors. But the red wheels draw added attention to the forward-leaning stance and extra-meaty rear tires.  It signals to everyone this is far more than something vintage. It is part of the speedy style that you see in the frenched license plate, custom pinstriping, and large dual exhaust tips.  And the paint brings the full package together nicely where it's a classic black, but there's plenty of added metallic element to give it the added pop you want in a street machine.  When you open those suicide doors, there is quite a vintage and attractive presentation. The upholstery for the seats and door panels has that cool classic mohair kind of style.  But it's hard to feel fully vintage in a 1930 car that has been upgraded with air conditioning, seat belts, and an AM/FM stereo with USB and Bluetooth.  Plus, the upgraded steering wheel, tilt column, and updated Stewart Warner gauges (with a large central tach) all hint at a more powerful driver.  When you lift the butterfly hood, everyone will be amazed that big block power could fit in this classic engine bay.  It's Chevy's 396/402 cubic-inch motor.  More than just added displacement, this has the right powerful upgrades like a four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake, a GM heavy-duty ignition box, and an Accel coil. And the Hooker headers add to the power while feeding the dual exhaust and Dynomax mufflers. This one loves to hit the streets, and the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission gives you the right balance of stout construction and smooth operation. The suspension is still set up to give you that classic pre-war Ford feeling, but they also made sure to add the right features for driving confidence.  So you have front disc brakes, rear traction bars, upgraded shocks, and rack  pinion steering.  There's something special about this Ford.  It's a good-looking car that never takes its vanity too seriously because this car was made to be driven. Sedan deliveries have always been made in small numbers, but this 1946 Ford Sedan Delivery Hot Rod is very rare, with only 3187 produced for the 1946 model year. This rare Ford has been customized to deliver an old school vibe that is nostalgic and fun. Finished handsomely in black, it features a louvered hood, frenched rear license plate and bright chrome grill and bumpers. Little details such as the traditional style pinstriping and small, round, dual high-mounted "peep" mirrors add to the look of this hot rod Ford. Lowered, but not too low to drive anywhere, plus a set of wide Chevrolet rally wheels with trim rings and vintage Ford logo moon caps wrapped with Komho Solus KR21 radial tires staggered 215/75R15 front and 235/75R15 rear for the perfect hot rod stance.  The black interior features pleated vinyl bucket seats and door panels in the traditional hot rod style. The dash bezel has been chrome plated and vintage style modern gauges have been installed in the stock locations. Additionally, there is a retro style stereo with Ford logo, air conditioning (although it will need servicing to blow cold again) and a tilt steering column. The cargo area is nicely trimmed in black carpet.  Under the louvered hood is a smooth-running 350 cubic inch Chevy engine mated to a TH350 automatic transmission. The engine is fed by an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold topped with an Edelbrock carburetor and chrome open element air cleaner. Other under hood features include an aluminum radiator with electric fan, power front disc brakes, power steering, chrome valve covers and a chrome alternator.  A dual exhaust system delivers a healthy hot rod rumble with not being too loud.
