1968 Shelby GT500 E. This car was totally restored with no expense spared, from top to bottom. Showroom quality car, and a lot of fun to drive.
 
 
It began its life as a rare X-Code 390 Mustang. It now has a rare 429ci Cobra Jet engine, 500hp / 550tq Big Block, mated with a TKO 600 Manual 5-Speed transmission. All that power is sent to the rear 315's tires with a 9'' Positraction rear end with 3.73 gears. No more Carburator adjustments, we installed an Holley Sniper EFI Self-Tuning Fuel Injection, capable of handling 650hp, replacing the old style 4bbl carburator and delivering a more efficient air/fuel mix over the complete rpm range of the engine.
 
 
It has the newer HEIDTS fully adjustable coilover suspension all around, a rack and pinion power steering system and 4 wheel disc brakes for a modern driving feel and performance.
 
 
The paint and body work are phenomenal, no orange peel, no scratches or stone chips. The body kit was professionally fitted. Inside, only the best materials were used. Leather seats front & back, custom made door pannels, brushed aluminium dash pannels, overhead console with map lights, shelby style center console. 
 
 
Extensive restoration that took 10 years to complete. 900miles since total rebuild. This car has never seen rainy days and was always garage kept.

This Candyapple Red example of Ford’s mighty Mustang Boss 429 (KK No. 1934) remained with its original owner until 2013. That owner kept much of his sales documentation, including dealer paperwork, a “welcome” letter to him from Ford and a copy of the original title. Further verification of the Boss Nine’s provenance comes from a build sheet and a Marti Report.
 
 
Earlier in its life, the Mustang was restored, and that work was recently freshened by Anghel Restorations of Scottsdale, Arizona, using a selection of NOS parts. The car has also had a brush with fame, having appeared on YouTube’s “Jay Leno’s Garage.” The Mustang retains its original driveline, including the matching-numbers 820-T version of the Boss 429 engine. The 820-T engines were the second batch of Boss 429s built in 1969, made with lightened rotating assemblies to help them rev faster. Behind the engine is the Boss’ original close-ratio Toploader 4-speed manual transmission, sending the engine’s 375 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque to the Traction-Lok differential with 3.91 gears. The chassis retains its power steering, power brakes and suspension, including what Ford called its “ultra-heavy-duty performance front and rear springs and shock absorbers” and “extra-heavy-duty competition front and rear stabilizer bars.” At each corner are the correct Magnum 500 wheels with flat-black inserts that are found only on Boss Nines.
 
 
The Mustang’s black Comfortweave bucket-seat interior is accessorized with the Deluxe Décor group and an AM radio—a simple sound system that won’t take anything away from the rumble of the “shotgun” mill underhood. Considering the Boss 429 was the peak of Mustang performance in 1969, the cars were far more subdued than other muscle machines on the streets. The massive, functional hood scoop was painted body color in 1969, and a simple “Boss 429” decal on each front fender identified this NASCAR homologation special.

Thanks for taking a look at our 2013 Shelby GT500. From the paint which has a full ceramic coating (including the wheel barrels, rims, all glass and lenses), to the inside which looks and smells new, this car is in exceptional condition and is well cared for. This Shelby is beautiful inside and out and it is not modified in any way, it is truly an original car. 
 
 
The reason we have decided to sell the Shelby is that we don't use it as much as we had hoped and we thought that it would be best for someone to enjoy driving the car more than we have been able to. In addition to the exceptional appearance of the car, we purchased a Ford Premium Care extended warranty which is basically a factory bumper to bumper warranty with the guarantee of only using Ford parts. There is roughly 15 payments left for this extra coverage (about $68 dollars per month/about $1000). This can be transferred to you per our Ford contract for a small transfer fee to Ford and assuming the rest of the warranty payments. This would provide coverage from now until 11/6/2025 or 48,000 whichever comes first (the Shelby only has 1823 miles). 
 
 
The car still has some of the factory original protective wrapping on the steering wheel and at the bottom of the door jams protecting the SVT kick plate. Additionally, we have most if not all the inside factory car wrapping as well. The original floor mats are still in the factory wrapping and so is the convertible boot and car manual book. 
 
 
The convertible top is absolutely perfect, the car comes with both sets of original keys, the window sticker, some paperwork from Ford and a Ford Shelby car cover which the car currently sits under inside our garage. 
 
 
If you are looking for a Shelby that looks, smells and drives like new, this is the car. Its adult owned, adult driven, and adult cared for and it shows.
