It's

us
all.
Company

Competitor

Enthusiast
and

What
once
was
'win

has,
through
the
decades,
manifested
incredible
accomplishments
that
are
coveted
by
companies,

alike.
Nowhere
is
that
phenomenon
more
evident
than
the
enthusiasm
behind
Ford's
legendary
GT
program.
Born
from
a
corporate
grudge
match,
resurrected
to
mark
Ford's
centennial
and
technological

and
stoked
by
Hollywood's

And
today,
with

COMPANY
AND
COLLECTOR
2017
Ford
GT
'66
Heritage
Edition
number
32
is
a
fully-optioned,
18-mile
tour
de
force
that
was
ordered
by
NASCAR
super
star
Brad
Keselowski.
In
addition
to
being
one
of
only
138
Ford
GTs
produced
for
the
2017
model
year,
it's
one
of
even
fewer
GTs
equipped
with
Ford
Motor
Company's
coveted
'66
Heritage
Edition
Package.
Designed
as
an
homage
to
the
legendary
P/1046
GT40
that
Bruce
McLaren
and
Chris
Amon
drove
to
victory
at
the
1966
24
Hours
of
Le
Mans,
the
'66
Heritage
Edition
is
a
fitting
tribute
to
Ford's
dominating
1-2-3
finish
at
the
world's
oldest
active
endurance
race.
Of
course,
with
success
comes
exclusivity.
To
celebrate
the
return
of
their
coveted
GT,
Ford
allotted
production
of
just
1,350
cars
over
the
course
of
roughly
six
years.
To
be
considered
for
ownership
privileges,
potential
customers
had
to
complete
an
application
process
that
included
a
24-month
no-sale
clause.
To
date,
Ford
has
received
over
6,500
applications
for
GT
ownership,
making
this
GT,
presently
one
of
only
three
'66
Heritage
Editions
known
to
be
publicly
offered,
your
chance
to
own
something
very
special.
COMPANY
AND
COMPETITOR
Racecars
are
best
driven
by
racecar
drivers,
right?
That's
why
it
should
come
as
no
surprise
that
2017
Ford
GT
'66
Heritage
Edition
number
32
has
been
in
the
ownership
of
NASCAR
star
Brad
Keselowski
since
new.
Raised
in
a
family
of
drivers
who
competed
in
everything
from
NASCAR's
Cup
and
Truck
series
to
ARCA
and
USAC,
Keselowski
knows
a
thing
of
two
about
winning.
He
currently
pilots
the
number
2
Team
Penske
Ford
Mustang
and,
in
addition
to
claiming
70
NASCAR
victories
across
all
three
of
the
sport's
major
divisions,
is
one
of
only
four
drivers
to
win
both
Cup
and
Xfinity
Series
championships.
Racecars
are
best
raced
by
champions,
right?
Enter
Chip
Ganassi
Racing,
the
only
race
team
in
history
to
win
the
Daytona
500,
the
Indianapolis
500,
the
Brickyard
400
and
the
Rolex
24
at
Daytona
in
one
season.
Chip
Ganassi
Racing
signed
a
4-year
agreement
with
Ford
to
field
the
company's
GTE-Pro
GTs
in
World
Endurance
Championship
events.
And,
fifty
years
after
the
victory
this
Heritage
Edition
celebrates,
the
new
Ford
GT
racecar
achieved
a
Class
Win
in
its
debut
at
the
2016
24
Hours
of
Le
Mans.
Factory
GT
efforts
wrapped
up
last
year
after
a
24
Hours
of
Daytona
win
and
two
IMSA
GTLM
Second
Place
Overall
finishes.
But
the
legacy
continues
with
privateer
teams
already
claiming
podiums,
and,
achieving
an
impressive
216
MPH,
the
road-going
Ford
GT
maintains
the
highest
top
speed
of
any
Ford
vehicle
ever
produced.
COMPANY
AND
ENTHUSIAST
Designed
by
a
skunkworks
of
12
Ford
employees
as
a
symbol
of
technological
rebirth
for
one
of
America's
greatest
automakers,
the
2017
Ford
GT
is,
first-and-foremost,
a
racecar.
Every
aspect
of
the
machine's
carbon
fiber
monocoque
construction
was
dictated
by
aerodynamics
and
downforce.
Not
only
does
carbon
fiber
shave
weight,
it
also
optimizes
air
flow
around
the
car's
teardrop-shaped
cockpit
with
the
help
of
dramatic
flying
buttress
C-pillars
that
would've
been
impossible
to
construct
from
alloy.
The
concept
of
performance-driven
design
was
pushed
even
further
when
the
team
eschewed
potential
V12
and
V8
powertrains
for
the
space
and
freedom
afforded
by
Ford's
compact
EcoBoost
V6.
That
said,
the
GT's
3.5
liter
isn't
exactly
the
same
mill
you'll
find
roaming
the
streets
in
Lincolns
and
F-150s.
Founded
on
a
common
Duratec
35
block,
the
engine
makes
excellent
use
of
an
aluminum
intake,
larger
turbos,
unique
cams,
strengthened
rotating
components
and
custom,
dry-sump
lubrication
to
spin
647
horsepower
through
a
7-speed
Getrag
dual-clutch
transaxle.
Aluminum
space
frames
ride
a
fully
adjustable
pushrod
suspension
that
can
vary
by
two
inches.
Stops
are
achieved
with
6
and
4-piston
Brembo
calipers,
which
squeeze
a
quartet
of
carbon
ceramic
rotors.
And
with
the
aid
of
an
active
rear
spoiler,
production
GTs
are
good
for
three
second
0-60
sprints
and
a
solid
1.11gs
on
the
skid
pad.
“While
the
looks
are
distinctly
based
on
the
GT40
Mk
II
racecar,
we've
accentuated
new
styling
cues
to
provide
a
modern
interpretation”

As

our

we've
experienced
the

generated
by
Ford's

firsthand.
And
as

we've
watched
the

reward
early

with
big

This

represents
a

to

some

consider
the
