Used Lamborghini Aventador SV For Sale
With the Aventador, Lamborghini set the bar for one of the ultimate supercars, and then they outdid themselves with the creation of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce.
Pushing all limitations, the Lamborghini Aventador SV for sale produces 740 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque, made possible with a revitalized 6.5-liter V12 engine mated to a seven-speed transmission that distributes power to all four wheels. To get this power, Lamborghini optimized the car’s variable valve timing and variable intake system.
In addition to its stand-out styling and one-of-a-kind look, the ‘SV’ as it is regularly referred to, is a true powerhouse. It is capable of incredible force, propelling from 0-60 in a short 2.8 seconds and arriving at 124 mph in a mere 8.6 seconds. With a top speed of 217 mph, the car still remains the fastest production Lambo to date.
Thanks to the engineers and designers at Lamborghini Centro Stile, the car’s aerodynamics are now 150 percent more optimized, resulting in a 170 percent gain in downforce compared to the standard Aventador.
Lamborghini set out on a mission to improve their renowned Aventador and returned with their most reactive car yet: the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce. The latest rendition of the famous car produces 740 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque, made possible with a revitalized 6.5-liter V12 engine mated to a sevenspeed transmission that distributes power to all four wheels. To get this power, Lamborghini optimized the car’s variable valve timing and variable intake manifold. These updates translate to enhanced performance for the Aventador Superveloce. Referred to as the ‘SV’ for short, it reaches 62 mph from a stop in just 2.8 seconds, arriving at 124 mph in 8.6 seconds. The SV tops out at an impressive 217 mph, making it the fastest series production Lamborghini ever.
The changes made to the exterior are apparent and functional. Necessary downforce was created through the expertise of the aerodynamic engineers and designers at Lamborghini Centro Stile. Overall, aerodynamics have been optimized by 150 percent and it has gained 170 percent more downforce over the standard Aventador. The most obvious exterior modification is the large rear wing. It can be manually adjusted to three different positions. In the front is a more open fascia with two front wings – one in carbon fiber and one the color of the car. The rear of the car, along with the new large wing, has been redesigned and crafted with exposed carbon fiber. To build a convertible version of one of the world’s most powerful cars is no easy task.

That’s why we were surprised to learn that the SV coupe will be accompanied by a Roadster version. Back when the LP700-4 Roadster arrived, many thought it was just a coupe with removable roof panels, but since the cockpit is essentially a giant mold of carbon fiber, significant reinforcements and engineering changes were needed. The rocker panels and transmission tunnel of the Roadster are thicker to keep stiffness on par with the coupe, and their extra weight is offset by a simplified dash structure, along with lighter seats and wheels. As for the carbon fiber roof panels, they stow neatly away under the hood for open air motoring. The transmission and engine performance listed is identical to the coupe’s by Lamborghini, but for the Roadster to reach 60 mph, be prepared to wait an agonizing extra tenth of a second.
