Defender LLEIDA D90 Defender and Friends Special Edition

This is a 1990 LHD Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon, built at the Land Rover factory in Solihull, England. This unit spent all its life in sunny Lleida, Spain. We have a great pictures about how she looked before to be restored.
In late 2017, it was acquired by Defender&Friends (AMBESTCLASSICS25,S.L.) as a clean, rust-free blue Defender D90 with tan cloth interior.

After one year of complete FRAME OFF restoration, including ultra-luxurious upgrades, but still respecting the legacy of the Defender, The Lleida Edition is ready to be shipped to your home. 

Its power comes from a 2.5L inline-four 200Tdi turbodiesel engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. We include Delivery to your location in the USA. We supply all the necessary documents to obtain in your state the temporally plate and register the Defender. 
The GPS Speedhut speedometer shows just over 200 miles, our test drive period once we finish the restoration is between 800 to 1.000 miles. 
Everything from mechanicals to electrics to suspension to interior has been either rebuilt, remanufacture or brand new, so the truck is better than new in most respects.

All body parts are primed, base coated, color coated and lacquered. The colors we used are called: AMG Designo Selenite Grey Magno and Land Rover Santorini Black

The LT 230 transfer box have a fixed set of new parts including a new taper roller bearings, the centre diff is checked and changed if necessary then shimmed up. Once the new parts are picked the first step in the build process is to lay the parts out on the bench for inspection, the gears are closely inspected paying particular attention to the condition of the centre diff and the wear pattern on the gear teeth.
When we rebuild a LT77 Gearbox, the unit is stripped down, washed in both Safety clean and hot wash tanks then the casings are shot blasted with glass bead, then painted. Once "Prepped" the stripped unit is sent to the build area in a plastic tub.
The boxes have a fixed set of new parts including bearings, baulk rings, gaskets and seals, approx 95% have a new mainshaft due to the spline wear they suffer from. Once the parts are picked the first step in the build process is to lay the parts out on the bench for inspection, the gears and shafts are closely inspected paying particular attention to the condition of the dogteeth and the wear pattern on the gear teeth.
Once built, the units are stamped with a number and a spec sheet filled out giving us info on the unit specification, who built it, when it was built and exactly what parts were fitted.
