Spyker is a Dutch car manufacturer that began life in 1880. The company went bankrupted twice and went through many various investors and owners until closing in 1926. It is estimated that during its short stint the company produced around 2000 cars. In 2000, the company reopened under the Spyker Cars name. The company's new motto is "Nulla tenaci invia est via", which is Latin for "For the tenacious, no road is impassable".

There are three main models that encompass Spyker’s model line-up. The Spyker C8 is offered in many different variants. The Spyker C8 Spyder for sale is the convertible version. The Spyker C8 Spyder T comes with a more powerful engine. The Spyker C8 Laviolette has a glass canopy instead of a convertible top. The C8 Double 12S is a civilan version of the 24 Hour Lemans race car. The Spyker C12 LaTurbie is their most recent model and comes with a long wheelbase and a new 12 cylinder. Although it uses the C12 name it clearly resembles the C8.

The Spyker D12 is a crossover SUV designed to intertwine performance, utility, and luxury into one auto. The car plans to use the W-12 found in the Audi line-up for power. The C-12 Zagato is in the works to be Spyker’s next model. The car was announced in late 2007 as the third auto offered by Spyker. It is a mid-engine coupe that will be powered by the Audi W-12.
