Offered Without Reserve | â¬150,000 - â¬200,000 EUR   Offered from The Sportiva Collection Ordered new by Lancia Works medial team doctors, whose signatures appear on the dashboard Sent directly from Lancia to Abarth, receiving uprated suspension and 17-inch wheels Certified by Abarth Classiche in November 2016 and accompanied by its folder Features Martini 5-style livery over Bianco paint, with a stunning Verde Alcantara interior Less than 28,000 kilometres from new, with just three known owners    With the dawn of the 1990s came the Delta's roadgoing zenith: the HF Integrale Evoluzione, revealed at the Frankfurt Salon in 1991. A remapped 16-valve turbocharged inline-four boasted 210 horsepower, surmounting the 100 horsepower-per-litre hurdle with ease. Blistered wings opened up space for a widened track and Speedline Monte Carlo wheels. At the rear sat a functional spoiler, while the interior both looked and felt the part with optional bolstered Recaro leather seats with distinctive perforated upholstery.  While the road-legal homologation Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione was earning its well-deserved reputation as a superb driver's car, its competition counterparts were carving out their place in rally history: a debut victory at San Remo in 1989, the first of many wins for the Delta Integrale 16v, contributed to Lancia's still-unmatched six consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturer's titles. The Evoluzione was the last Delta that could rightly be called a WRC homologation car following Lancia's withdrawal from rallying in 1992.  This Lancia Delta Evoluzione is no ordinary example, having been commissioned by three doctors who previously provided the Lancia Works rally team with medial support during the 1980s. Looking to acquire a new Group A Delta, they placed an order through their contacts at Lancia when they discovered it would not be possible.   This car stands out from other Deltas with its Martini livery, bodywork, and badging-only seen on 'Martini 5' editions of the Delta, limited to just 400 units. This Delta features slight exterior tweaks from the factory such as the roof spoiler in black rather than white. Inside, this car differs from a 'Martini 5' Delta, though, with the absence of a numbered glovebox plaque and an extremely special Verde Alcantara interior. From its initial delivery in 1992, the three doctors sent the Delta directly to Abarth, where the legendary tuner fitted Group N suspension and 17-inch wheels. It is thought that only a handful of Lancia Delta Evoluziones were ever sent to Abarth for such modifications. A set of period-correct 15-inch wheels and tyres accompany this Delta.   First registered to a Giovanni Musatti on 6 July 1992, the three doctors retained the car until 2013 when it was acquired by SRL River Team. Nine years later, the consignor purchased this unique Delta Evoluzione Group N 'Abarth' and added it to The Sportiva Collection.   In 2016, this Lancia was sent to Abarth Classiche, where it received the desirable certification book and metal display plate. Abarth Classiche noted this vehicle as one of the handful of 'Group N' specified Deltas that the company had modified. A version of events from the three doctors, chronicling this car's conception, is available to view on file (in Italian) along with a photograph of them with the car. This Delta is also certified by the Lancia Registro Storico and is accompanied by its Certificato Di Identitia.  Presented today in an unbelievably well persevered state, the odometer reads just 27,641 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. The exterior and interior are in their factory correct configuration and the glove box features a plaque bearing the signatures of the three doctors. To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION at RM Sothebys' Monaco event, 10 - 11 May 2024.  â¬180,000 - â¬200,000 EUR   The 244th of 250 final iterations of the famed Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rare example in unmodified form, save for an upgraded exhaust system The only special edition Integrale to feature a rear OMP strut brace Accompanied by Lancia Classiche Certificato di Origine and invoice for February 2023 service by Walkers Garage of Northallerton, England Odometer reads only 82,860 kilometres Interior trim still wears original protective film    When Lancia finally ended its association with the World Rally Championship in a span that produced an unprecedented six consecutive Manufacturers' titles, it had made a legend out of a small hatchback that was arguably behind the curve when it first appeared in the aftermath of Group B rallying.  While rival manufacturers argued with the FIA about whether Group B and its planned replacement, Group S, should continue, Lancia got to work with the Group A Lancia Delta, beginning with the HF 4WD. The rest is history, with consecutive World Rally Championships for drivers and the car's manufacturer alike. As a result came increasingly powerful and advanced road cars to homologate the racers. At the request of the Japanese importer, Lancia allowed for several trips of Japan's top customers to visit the factory and help contribute towards a special Japanese domestic market version of the Lancia Delta. The final result was the 'Edizione Finale', reserved solely for Japanese delivery and limited to 250 examples. The specification was impressive and reflected the considered approach Lancia had taken to pleasing its Japanese customer base.   The Evolution II package had served up the most potent Integrale yet, with 212 horsepower available from its 2.0-litre twin-cam engine courtesy of a new Garrett turbocharger and a reprogrammed ECU, but more was to come for the Final Edition. The most noticeable changes were to the aesthetics, thanks to a yellow-blue stripe over Rosso Amaranto (dark red) paint, inspired by the Fulvia HF. The car rode on special 16-inch Speedline 'Monte Carlo' aluminium wheels, finished in Anthracite, complemented by matte black vents and vanes all-round. Dark-grey painted wheels are apparent on closer inspection, together with black bonnet vents and mesh grille, a carbon fibre fuel cap to match the steering wheel centre, and special badging. Inside, there were aluminium pedals, a racing-style gear shift, carbon fibre trim, and an aluminium gear knob, plus a push-button engine start. This was complemented by a black Alcantara and cloth Recaro seating selection. The changes weren't only cosmetic-of all the special editions, only the Edizione Finale received a rear OMP strut bar.   The example here finished production on 19 January 1995, according to the accompanying Lancia Classiche Certificato di Origine. In February 2023, the car was serviced at renowned UK Integrale specialists, Walkers Garage, with further refurbishment of the braking system, central locking system, and lower sump pan. The car passed a UK MoT test around the same time but was not registered in the country.  At the time of cataloguing the Lancia's odometer reads 82,860 kilometres, though it still wears its protective plastic wrapping over the door trims. Unlike many examples of the breed, the car is unmodified other than upgraded exhaust system. Car number 244 of the 250 made exclusively for Japan and would surely be the jewel in any collection of road-going homologation specials.  Please note this vehicle is titled as 1995.
