1992 Porsche 964 Carrera RS N/GT “Macau,” S/N WP0ZZZ96ZNS499281, Amethyst metallic with tri-color, 3.6 litre normally aspirated flat 6 cylinder air cooled engine making 260hp with 240 lb-ft of torque, 5 speed manual transmission, the RS a lightweight race-ready and road legal Carrera with seam welded chassis, single mass flywheel, Brembo brake upgrade, lowered suspension, thinner side glass, aluminum hood, smaller battery, decontented interior, lightweight door cards with door pulls, magnesium wheels, air conditioning, radio, and sunroof delete.  The RS evolved further for the Group N Series with the M003 option for the N/GT RS with Matter roll cage, larger fuel tank, black racing seats with harnesses, and cockpit battery kill switch.  And then there are the “Macau” editions, of which our Amethyst RS N/GT hails from – a Macau casino owner ordered 20 RS N/GT for marketing purposes to be raced in a one-model race series, each of the 20 to be built in a different color, and trimmed at Porsche Exclusive with leather wrapped roll cage, carpeted headliner, sport steering wheel, and vibrantly colored interiors.  Ultimately, the race series failed to materialize and the 20 RS N/GTs were sold on.  Our RS N/GT is the only Macau example in Amethyst metallic, and came to the States in 2017 and has most recently resided in a noted Northeast USA collection.

1973 Ford Bronco Baja Bronco by Stroppe, S/N# U15GLR80665, Special Stroppe paint, poppy red bottom, white mid-section and blue top.  302 V8 with automatic transmission.  Baja Broncos were made from 1971 to 1975 and total production guess is ~450 units.  This Baja Bronco has its original MSRP and comes with a Marti report stating that this is one of 115 for model year ’73.  Bill Stroppe was the Carrol Shelby for Ford’s 4×4 and off-road division.  Made famous with Big ‘Oly with wins at the Baja 1000, Stroppe became the “buildsheet” customizer for Ford…you could walk into a dealership and check a box and get one of these…this truck was ordered by Ziems Motor Co. in Farmington, NM &#40;the authorized Ford dealer there&#41;.  Once Ford built it &#40;on June 12, 1973&#41; it was then transported to Stroppe’s shop in Long Beach, CA for modification.  They redid the suspension, added flares, a Stroppe designed roll bar, steering wheel, graphics and more…this truck also has the extra option of the aptly named “Cactus Smasher” front bumper pusher.  The total MSRP was $5,177 and most of these trucks didn’t survive.  Early 70’s Broncos are very popular and sought after &#40;Big ‘Oly sold for almost $2MM recently&#41; and many are getting resto-modded…this Baja Bronco is just like it was when it left Bill Stroppe’s shop and is an important piece of Ford’s history, 4×4 history and a time when “tuners” were embraced by the factory to design and build something they couldn’t…simpler, cooler times indeed.  Comes with framed MSRP and Marti report.

1961 Mercedes Benz 300SL roadster, Serial Number 19804210002703, Engine Number 19898010002752, 534 Fire Red with black leather, black convertible soft top, body colored factory hard top, 3.0 litre in-line 6 cylinder engine with Bosch mechanical fuel injection making 240hp, 4 speed manual transmission, drum brakes, ivory steering wheel and shift knob, original colors, matching numbers original engine and transmission.  The W198 chassis 300SL roadster was introduced at the 1957 Geneva Motor Show and is a descendant of the wildly successful successful W194 race car, whose victories included the Le Mans 24 Hours and Carrera Pan Americana.  The roadster shares an evolved version of the Rudolf Uhlenhaut designed lightweight tubular chassis of the race car, as well as having a steel body, lightweight aluminum door skins, bonnet, and trunk lid.   Our 300SL is a USA example, is completely matching numbers throughout as confirmed by the factory data card on file, the USA rear marker lights still present, and comes to us from its passionate nonagenarian owner who has owned the 300SL since 1988. 1999 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider, S/N ZFFXR48A0X0113872, Rosso Corsa red with beige leather interior and black soft top.  3.5 liter V8 engine making 375HP mated to an auto-manual F1 paddleshift 6-speed transmission.  This Spider was sold new from Ferrari of San Francisco on 12/22/98 to a gentleman in Newport Beach, CA.  Over the next 14 years, the Ferrari would be enjoyed in Newport and serviced accordingly…covering just over 13,000 miles during this first ownership. Built to race, and infinitely usable on the street as well, the all new 911 Carrera RS 2.7 was produced to homologate for racing in FIA Group 4 Special GT class.  The initial run of 500 RS 2.7 to satisfy homologation rules quickly sold out, so a second series of 500 were built, and then yet another 500 built for the third series.  The Carrera RS 2.7 was the first 911 to use the Carrera name, a nod to the 550 Spyder’s class win and 3rd overall finish in the 1953 Carrera Panamericana border-to-border road race in Mexico.  And the RS 2.7 the very 911 where the iconic “ducktail” spoiler debuted, with the RS the first Porsche to utilize both front and rear spoilers.  All this neatly packaged in the last year of the F-body 911, with Carrera graphics adorning each side along with color matched Fuchs alloy wheels, wide rear wheel arches to accommodate the staggered wider 7 inch rear wheels, and of course fitted with the mighty 2.7 litre flat six cylinder air cooled engine making 210hp.

RS 2.7 S/N 1537 was delivered new into Italy where it would live until coming to California in the 1990s.  1537 was born in the vibrant color of Dalmatian Blue, and once Stateside was fully restored and then showing in classic Grand Prix White with blue graphics.  In the early aughts the RS 2.7 would join the collection of a real car guy, Bruce Meyer of Beverly Hills.  The RS would be in Bruce’s collection for the next two decades, and now comes to us after a brief visit in a small East Coast collection.  The Carrera has just been serviced and sorted by marque specialist, Jerry Pellegrino’s European Performance Engineering, and is ready for the spring and summer driving season.

1994 Audi RS2 Avant, VIN#  WACZZZ8CZRZ000903, Polar Silver with black leather and grey alcantara inserts.  Inline 5 cylinder 2.2 liter 20-valve engine making 311HP and “Powered by Porsche”.  6 speed manual gearbox with Quattro all-wheel-drive and a Torsen central differential.  Porsche engineered and built &#40;at the same factory as the ultimate, 959&#41;.  They constructed under 3,000 of these special and rare wagons in ’94 & ’95 and they were never sold new in the USA.  Now due to time, this epic “collab” between Audi and Porsche is allowed in the USA…sadly, just not in CA.  This was the first Audi model to receive the “RS” badge and it was so deserving…and the only car to also be branded a Porsche!  Porsche engineered many upgrades and changes and also used many parts from their shelves, including:  Porsche Cup wheels, 911 Turbo mirrors, Porsche/Brembo brakes and more.  All of this attention made it the fastest Audi ever and a supercar station wagon.  Now, many years later it appeals to Audi collectors, Porsche collectors and any of us that were reading car magazines in the early 90’s…a truly epic European hero!  This RS2 spent its life in Europe before coming to the USA in 2019 and has only seen ~62k miles over its 30 years and over the past few years has had over $30k lavished on it with servicing and refreshing.  Now this most famous of super wagons is ready for you!  &#40;Not for sale in CA&#41;
