This is a very special Jack Roush Edition cobra custom built by Backdraft Racing (car #1254).  It was meticulously researched during the build stage even down to the race number.  Two Ford engines made the AC Shelby Cobra famous and have a great race history, the 289 and 427.  In maintaining authenticity, this car has a 427 small block from Ford Racing that went to Jack Roush for special treatment resulting in a beautiful chrome 8-stack with electronic fuel injection that produces a whopping 560HP and 535 in torque.  It's 0-60 time is approximately 3.0 seconds.  This car was completed and delivered brand new on 01/15/2014, it is an award winning show car and has never been tracked or raced.  It has also taken 1st place (Gold Ribbon) in the cobra category at the Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival twice, placed in several Festivals of Speed events as well as numerous other car shows . 

Pricing for Backdraft cobras has increased and today it will take at least one year to custom order & build one due to backlogs and part shortages.  Special Jack Roush Edition cobras like this are rarer and at a premium.  In addition, this cobra has BMW racing technology under the chassis (i.e. brakes, suspension, drivetrain) that you cannot get today.  One very similar to this just sold at the Mecum Auto Auction (Jan 2022) in Florida for $220,000 ($200k for the cobra, $20k for Mecum).  In comparison, this cobra is $45k less, 2 years newer, 18 more HP, 6-Speed and has a beautiful carbon fiber dash.
