OUR HISTORY

Established in December of 1998, Cauley Ferrari of opened its doors in West Bloomfield, MI. A brand new 14,000 sq. ft. facility was designed and constructed with inspiration directly from the manufacturer’s headquarters in Maranello, Italy. In late 2015, we broke ground on a very extensive expansion and state of the art remodel to our existing building, thus bringing the our dealership even more on the leading edge of style and innovative design. The new facility was officially opened in May of 2018 with a total of 53,000 square feet to house all our new operations of New & Pre-Owned Sales, Service, Genuine Parts, Classiche Restoration, Body Shop, & Detailing. We are now one of only eight Authorized Ferrari Body Shops in North America. Along with the opening of our store, which changed our name to “Cauley Ferrari of Detroit” to highlight that great Motor City market that we represent. Over the years we have earned a reputation as one of the premier Ferrari dealers in North America and are recognized for our passion and quality, not only that of our cars but of our clients too. In 2003, we were graced with the presence of Sergio Pininfarina, the famous Ferrari designer, as he performed an extremely special delivery of our Ferrari Enzo supercars to their new owners right in our showroom. We pride ourselves on the fact that every Ferrari we order is highly unique due to both our creative influence and the adventurous taste of our clients. The 488 GTB comes equipped with a 3.9 liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 661 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque which is 99 more hp and 163 lb-ft of torque than the previous generation 458 Italia. 0-62 mph takes just 3 seconds, 0 to 124 mph takes only 8.3 seconds (which is .8 seconds quicker than a 458 Speciale), and top speed is an electrifying 205 mph. The last time Ferrari offered a twin-turbo V8 Engine in a mid-rear-engine layout was in the legendary F40! The 488 GTB is faster, sharper, and better in nearly every measurable way than its predecessor the 458. It uses an updated version of the dual-clutch 7-speed transmission that was standard on the 458 Italia and shift times are now up to 40% quicker. There is increased downforce due to a redesigned front and rear diffuser as well as other exterior modifications, and curb weight is down too. Top Gear magazine awarded the 488 GTB Car of the Year and Motor Trend proclaimed it to be the "Best Driver's Car".
