WW2 MB SLAT GRILL - his stunning âslat grilleâ Willys MB jeep is rare in the extreme. Those familiar with the preservation of WW2 military vehicles already know this particular jeep. It has been described as âthe finest âslat grilleâ Willys in North America.â The jeep has won multiple awards from the MVPS.  .  - The frame number is: 101948  - The engine number is: 102346  - Date of manufacture is: December 12th, 1941 â The brass dash-mounted data plate is stamped: 12-4-41    - The overall condition of the jeep is beyond exceptional.    - Simply stated, everything that a genuine âslat grilleâ jeep should have is here:  - The jeep features the correct hand fabricated slat grille radiator grille.  - The jeep has no glove box.  - The extinguisher is mounted on the passenger side.  - The dashboard is equipped with the correct smooth bezel ignition switch.  - The dashboard features the correct gauges:  - The gas gauge is marked GAS (not FUEL).  - The speedo is marked every 5mph (not every 1mph).  - The ammeter is marked 30/30 (not 50/50).  - The engine bay features the correct early production radiator.  - The fuel tank sump/well is the correct early style, with the squared edges (not the later issue radiused corners).  - The wheels are the correct early issue solid Kelsey-Hayes type, (not the later issue slotted or, even later, split combat rims).  - The two toolboxes feature the correct small hinges (not the later issue long piano hinges).  - The driver seat and passenger seat are the correct âsplit tubeâ design.  - On and on and on.
