Early this year the sheet was pulled on their most powerful and lightest model
to join the Super Series, the McLaren 675LT for sale. Reviving the name used previously on the 1997 F1 GTR ‘Longtail,’ the design is focused on lighter weight, optimized aerodynamics, increased power and track-focused dynamics. Powering the newcomer is a 3.8-liter V8 engine developed with more than 50 percent new parts. Packing 666 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, upgrades include new turbos, modified cylinder heads, new camshafts and a faster-flowing fuel pump. All of these upgrades result in one incredible automotive performance. The supercars 0-60 mph time is only 2.9 seconds, reaching 0-124 mph shortly after in 7.9 seconds. Speed on this model tops out at 205 mph. The body includes a carbon fiber front splitter, side sills and an active Longtail airbrake that’s 50 percent larger than the ones found in its Super Series kin. The car is also offered in four new colors: Chicane Grey, Delta Red, Napier Green and Silica White.
