The Ford Ranger for sale was produced for the American market between 1983 and 2012 when it was discontinued. Though Ford Rangers remained in production for other global markets, the line was recently revived for American consumption in 2019. It is the first compact pickup truck that was designed by Ford. The newest models are billed as a mid-size pickup and will also serve as the basis for the brand-new Ford Bronco that is set to debut later on in 2020.

The Ranger Lariat for sale is a premium edition mid-size truck that offers a great driving experience and reliability. The Lariat line has a robust, modern look, and this trim edition includes top of the line features. Coupled with an affordable price tag and fuel efficiency, the new Ranger was released to high acclaim. Still, for Hennessey Performance, we know that that barely scratched the surface of this truck's potential.
The 2019 Hennessey Ranger for sale is bigger and, of course, quite a bit better than your factory-standard Ranger. As they have done with Ford Raptors for years, Hennessey pulled out all of the stops on the 2019 Ford Ranger VelociRaptor. They enhanced the Ford 2.3 L EcoBoost engine from 270 hp to an impressive 350 bhp and amped up the torque from 310 lb-ft to 385 ln-ft.

To make that all run like a finely tuned machine, the VelociRaptor includes Hennessey's custom-designed engine management software. In addition, you'll find that they’ve increased air intake with a trademarked high-flow induction system and installed an unmistakable stainless steel Catback exhaust system that you can hear coming from a mile away. With all of those sweet upgrades, you can look for the Velociraptor to smoke 0-60 mph in just 6.1 seconds—a full 1.3 seconds faster than it could straight off of the line.

Besides the thorough engine overhaul, the VelociRaptor Ranger got a significant boost in its off-road equipment too. The suspension lift kit upgrades offered as a part of the Stage 1 equipment adds 4 inches in height by itself. If you opt for BF Goodrich off-road tires on those Hennessey 17" alloy wheels, you're looking at a truck that's a full half-foot taller than the stock version. To complete the aggressively styled outfit, Hennessey also offers eye-catching roof-mounted LED light bars and upgraded front bumpers with LED lights and a winch upgrade if you think you’ll need one. Signature accents like fender flairs, exterior badges, and serial plaques on the engine and interior are included as well, just in case you couldn’t tell that this unmistakably enhanced beast of a truck wasn’t a Hennessey.

For 2019, Hennessey has committed to making no more than 500 VelociRaptor Rangers, and it'll cost you a pretty penny to get your hands on a brand new one. If you're not lucky enough to make it onto Hennessey's shortlist this year, you might want to consider a used Ford Ranger until you can get your hands on one of these extraordinary vehicles.
