The new Bugatti Chiron for sale, the Veyron's successor has officially been unveiled, and Bugatti states that the Chiron is “the world’s most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car.” Powering the car is the 8.0-liter W16 engine with two-stage turbocharging, which pumps out an extraordinary 1,500 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque between 2,000 and 6,000 RPM. With this power and the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, Bugatti states that the Chiron is ready to set a new world speed record, especially with a stated top speed of 260 mph. It should also be mentioned that the Chiron will be able to run 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds. To make the Chiron more nimble, especially when compared to the Veyron, Bugatti installed a new carbon fiber monocoque, newly designed adaptive chassis, tires designed especially for Bugatti, new brakes with Formula One technical modules and more. The adaptive chassis includes five driving programs, including Life, EB & Autobahn, Handling, and Top Speed. Each mode changes the chassis height, shock absorbers, power-assisted steering, four-wheel-drive mode, rear differential, aerodynamic control system, stability control system and brake control system. Inside, French luxury is on full display. The cockpit has been designed specifically for a driver-oriented experience. When sitting down, the driver will have the climate control, infotainment systems and other features all within an arm’s reach. Separating the driver from the passenger is an illuminated C-bar that Bugatti is calling the longest light conductor in the automobile industry.” As for materials, leather and carbon fiber are plentiful, whether it be on the steering wheel, seats or dashboard. Bugatti notes that they are offering 21 colors for leather and eight colors for Alcantara, allowing each Chiron to be tailor-made. Without a doubt, the king of supercars is here.

Bugatti Chiron Sport

Weighing in at nearly 40 lbs lighter than the base model, the Chiron Sport is an upgraded and sportier model than the showstopping 2018 version. To achieve this feat, Bugatti shaved off weight by incorporating elements like lightweight glass and wheels and reconstructing exterior components with lighter, carbon fiber materials wherever possible. This includes the addition of 3-D printed carbon fiber wipes, which are the first for any production car model. The Chiron Sport maintains the original 16-cylinder engine along with the 1479 horsepower output, but despite this, the Chiron Sport was able to complete the Nardo test track a whopping 5 seconds faster than the base model.

The most noticeable upgrades for the Chiron Sport hone in on perfecting the already impressive handling and performance. A stiffer suspension and the addition of the Dynamic Torque Vectoring all-wheel-drive system enable drivers to handle long windy roads and sharp turns without hesitation. To the untrained eye, the exterior does not appear to change but upon closer inspection, a few slight changes are prominent. An exposed carbon fiber tail finish, a carbon fiber finish on the “C” that is typically finished in aluminum and a “16” featured on the grille mesh top the list of exterior modifications. Other alterations, while purely aesthetic, further add to the allure of the dreamy Bugatti. A new range of colors for the front end and black anodized aluminum switchgear, black leather, and Alcantara are most notable for this breathtakingly sporty model expected to be available for delivery by the end of the year.

Dubbed by the automaker as the ultimate super sports car, the new Bugatti Chiron Sport is redesigned to further enhance performance. To improve an already impressive model, Bugatti focused on better handling and enhanced agility above all. Alterations like a firmer suspension and lighter wheels are at the top of the list of changes for the Sport model, which harnesses a beefy 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine with four turbochargers. The engine generates an impressive 1500 horsepower with 1180 pound-foot of torque. This raw power, in combination with an advanced aerodynamic design, allows the Chiron Sport to accelerate from 0-60 mph in only 2.3 seconds with a mind-boggling top speed of 261 mph. The automaker also kept luxury and comfort at the top of its list. The exterior is a classic Bugatti concept with sleek curves from front to back and an extra sporty backend with quad exhaust pipes. Inside, drivers are greeted by a mix of opulence and strength. From Alcantara and leather to carbon and anodized aluminum, elegance is obvious in this two-seater. Despite all the exorbitant additions inside, tech-savvy drivers will not find the luxuries they have become accustomed to in other makes and models of the same year. There is no infotainment system or driver assistance features and the interior storage space is extremely limited. The Bugatti Chiron Sport is, however, a supercar made for speed and excitement, so it is unlikely that these features will be missed.
