Perhaps the biggest misconception of the southern Florida area is that it’s constantly hot. “I used to live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Naples isn’t any hotter than there,” Robyn says. “Being situated on the Gulf of Mexico gives us a constant sea breeze, and winters are crisp but still comfortable.”
