Now one can deny the appeal of an M1. So when I heard BMW made an M1 concept, I will admit by heart stopped for just a nano second. Too bad this design exercise will most likely never see the assembly line.

Word in the ear of many auto bloggers is that BMW will in fact build the M1. Expect the M5's V-10 to be utilized for power and a base price around $100,000. This would put the Audi R8 right in its crosshairs. Details as they become available.
