TVR motors was founded in 1947. The cars were manufactured on tubular frames with
aluminum bodies; Fiberglass was later employed. The TVR was sold as a kit car until

the company has suffered some setbacks such as relocating its production plant and
many staff layoffs. This doesn’t mean that the TVR company is finished, though.
