In 2005, the Acura NSX was in the third year of its new facelift. Despite being
on the market since 1990 and becoming a familiar face, the 2005 Acura NSX still
sold well. It still looked very similar to a 1990 model; however, there were some
major differences. In 2002, Acura replaced the flip-up headlamps with fixed units.
Also, by 2005, the Acura NSX came with a 3.2-liter V-6 producing 290 hp, a small
bump up from car's original 270 hp.
The car was well known for offering both comfort and performance. The car is ergonomically
superior to many supercars you can buy even today, let alone any of the supercars
you would have found back in 1990. It’s the engineering and craftsmanship that make
the NSX still viable and enjoyable even by today’s supercar standards.
