The 2003 Hummer H2 is a civilized and more practical version
of the infamous H1 Hummer. Based off the Tahoe platform, the H2 takes its styling
directly from its older brother; it screams in your face and macho!
The 2003 Hummer H2 uses a 6.0L Vortec V-8 capable of producing a mighty 316 hp and
360 lb-ft of torque. The drive train doesn't take up space in the cabin like the driveshaft does in the H1. (Passengers
in the H1 are scooted to the edge of the vehicle as a large hump sits in the middle
of the vehicle to keep the driveshaft from scraping on any rocks or underbrush)
There is plenty of room up front in the 2003 Hummer H2. The only place it gets tight
is in the backseat. The optional third row seat and any extra luggage space is hampered
by the spare tire that sits in the back of the car. The third row is reduced to
one person, making the Hummer H2 only capable of holding five people. When looking
for a 2003 Hummer H2, make sure the spare tire is on the back lift gate, not inside
the truck.
