Newly built Defender 130 with GM LS3 and automatic transmission.
Starting with an extremely clean and original Defender 130 DCPU (Double Cab Pick Up), this truck was originally in Europe and then imported by a Defender expert. 
     Work began as the body and tub were removed, completely disassembled and stripped and painted to a modern Defender color Corris Grey.  In this process new modern doors were added, along with a more modern bulkhead and hood, commonly referred to as Puma upgrades.  Puma was the last model built of the classic Defenders.
      We decided to go all in and replace everything with the latest and greatest parts available.  Starting with a new heavy duty version of the Marshland Defender 130 chassis (the best available).  All new suspension, steering and driveline components were added to that chassis.  
This includes new:
Salisbury axle with Quaife ATB differentials
Upgraded Ashcroft axle shafts
New heavy-duty hubs
Ashcroft HD transfer case
4-wheel disc brakes by AP  
Kahn wheels and BFG KO2 tires
      The original engine was changed out for a new crate GM LS3 engine (Corvette) with 425 hp.  This is mated to a GM automatic transmission.  This package also includes all modern accessories including A/C compressor, alternator, brake booster and belt/pulley system - all designed specifically for a modern Defender build.
      The body was completely disassembled.  The doors and bulkhead were upgraded with the latest model assemblies.  All pieces were individually prepped and painted, then reassembled.  All new hardware was used and upgraded to stainless steel.  The interior was lined with Dynamat sound dampening material.
  The original interior was removed and replaced with a modern luxury interior to include a Puma style dash, backup camera, modern radio, leather seats, and the interior was wrapped in sound deadening Dynamat. New carpet and Alcantara black headliner was also installed.

Please email  or call 1-*number in the description*  About the Defender 110  The Land Rover Defender (initially called the Land Rover Ninety and Land Rover One Ten) is a British four-wheel drive off-road vehicle developed in the 1980s from the original Land Rover Series which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. After a continuous run of 67 years, production finally ended on 29 January 2016 when the last Land Rover Defender rolled off the production line.  The coil sprung Land Rover was introduced in 1983 as "Land Rover One Ten" the number representing the wheelbase in inches.The number was spelled in full in advertising and in handbooks and manuals, and the vehicles also carried badges above the radiator grille which read  "Land Rover 110", with the number rendered numerically.  From Spring 2007 a series of changes were made to the Defender, most of which were implemented to meet emissions and safety legislation. The biggest change was to the drivetrain. The Td5 engine was replaced by an engine from Ford's DuraTorq line (AKA the Puma engine), built in their factory in Dagenham, making the Td5 the last Land Rover engine to be built in-house at Solihull.  The engine chosen was from the ZSD family, being a version of the 2.4-litre four-cylinder unit also used in the highly successful Ford Transit. The engine's lubrication and sealing system was adapted for use in wet, dusty conditions and to maintain lubrication at extreme angles in off-road use. The power level remains the same at 122HP, but with a lower power peak speed for towing and better acceleration. Torque output rose from 221 lbâft to 265 lbâft due to the fitting of a variable-geometry turbocharger. This produces a wider spread of torque than the Td5, from 1500 rpm to 2000 rpm. The engine is mated to a new six-speed gearbox. First gear is lower than the previous gearbox for better low-speed control, whilst the higher sixth gear is intended to reduce noise and fuel consumption at high speeds.  2012 Brought forth some changes with the main change being the installation of a different engine from the Ford Duratorq engine range. Ford decided, due to cost reasons, not to modify the 2.4-litre engine introduced in 2007 to meet the upcoming Euro V emissions standards and so the engine was replaced with the ZSD-422 engine, essentially a 2.2-litre variant of the same engine.  Although smaller than the existing unit the power and torque outputs remained unchanged and the same six-speed gearbox was used as well. The engine included a diesel particulate filter for the first time on a Defender. 

This 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 was modified and imported to the US before being acquired by the current owner in 2021. The truck has been converted to left-hand-drive and is finished in gray over black upholstery. Power comes from a 200Tdi 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Other equipment includes a replacement frame, LED lighting, an external roll cage, a Puma hood, black 16″ alloy wheels, disc brakes, alpine windows, aftermarket bucket seats, and an Alpine touchscreen infotainment system. Work performed in 2023 involved overhauling the engine, replacing the clutch, and repainting the hood. This modified 110 is offered with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title.

The truck has been refinished in gray with a black grille and bumpers, and features include LED lighting, alpine windows, body-color wheel arch flares, KBX fender vents, tubular side steps, checker-plate fender and rocker guards, a front skid plate, and an external roll cage with an integrated roof rack and rear ladder. The Puma hood was repainted in 2023, and a scratch is visible on the front bumper.

Black-finished 16″ sawtooth wheels wear Land Rover center caps and are wrapped in 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, as is a matching spare mounted on the swing-away rear carrier. Stopping power is from power-assisted disc brakes at all four corners.

The truck has been converted to left-hand-drive, and the cabin houses replacement front bucket seats upholstered in gray vinyl with cloth centers along with a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and black carpets. Additional features include heated front seats, rear seating for three, air conditioning, a center console, a reverse-view camera, a suede-style headliner, front and rear pop-up skylight windows, and an Alpine touchscreen infotainment system.

The leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 200Tdi 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four produced 107 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in 2023 included overhauling the engine as well as installing an aftermarket turbocharger, intercooler, and oil cooler lines.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. A replacement galvanized frame has been installed, and the clutch and flywheel were replaced in 2023. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery.
