The Maserati GranTurismo for sale is intended for sport and bestowed with comfort and luxury. A silky smooth 4.7-liter 454 horsepower V-8 with 383 lb·ft of torque and a ZF six-speed automatic provide power for any situation and a throaty growl. Stab the throttle and the dual-mode exhaust opens into a high-pitched scream. Instead of grouping many control systems together with a few settings, the GranTurismo allows the driver to tailor the magnetic suspension, traction control, and other systems individually. As a proper GT car, the engine is well behind the front axle, delivering a perfect 49/51-percent balance. A flowing exterior was carefully sculpted to control airflow above and below the body. Inside, four elegantly contoured bucket seats are emblazoned with the Trident logo and flanked by a full-length center console. Driver and passengers are bathed in hand-stitched leather while Alcantara covers all other surfaces. Celebrating their centennial this year with a special edition. With a host of interior and exterior changes, they will be instant collectibles.

Heralding from a long line of sports and grand touring cars, the GranTurismo continues to carry the brand’s tradition in motoring. Debuting at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, the GT combines luxury and speed in a comfortable 2+2 coupe. Powered by a 399 hp 4.2 liter V8, the GT has retained its original concept DNA and received few large-scale updates in its production run. The transmission options have been limited to a single ZF six-speed automatic, which is capable of changing gears in as little as 60 milliseconds.

The base car is capable of reaching 60 mph from a standstill in 5.0 seconds and a top speed of 177 mph, while the slimmed-down and lightened versions, like the MC Stradale released at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 188 mph. The MC Stradale, a strictly two-seat coupe with power increased to 444 hp, was designed to be a road-legal version of the coupe that looked and felt like a GT4 or Trofeo.

The interior is available in a variety of high-grade leathers and suedes, accented by your choice of carbon fiber, wood or aluminum. The standard seats feature accentuated side bolsters to keep drivers and passengers in place for heavy cornering while retaining a high level of comfort. In the MC and Sport editions have racing bucket seats and are considerably firmer and performance-oriented.

Beginning in the production year for 2010, Maserati’s GT became available in a convertible version, dubbed the Cabrio. Since its introduction, Sport and MC versions of the Cabrio have also been built on a limited production basis.

2019 GranTurismo
One glimpse at the latest Maserati GranTurismo and there is no question that it is a pure Italian stallion. Fueled by a potent 4.7-liter V8 engine, the GranTurismo exhibits 454 ponies and 384 lb-ft of torque. A 0 to 60 acceleration speed of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 186 MPH demonstrates that this authentic beauty has more to offer than good looks. Completely redesigned to compete with more modern and tech-savvy models, the latest GranTurismo focuses on weight reduction and a lower engine mounting position than earlier generations. Following suit with other current sports cars, the GranTurismo will also aim to improve its aerodynamics to decrease drag. To do so, the front wheel assembly will be moved forward, the hood will be elongated, and the cabin will be relocated to fall directly over the rear wheels.

The Maserati GranTurismo Sport for sale, known as the GranCabrio outside of North America is going to receive a new sporty sub-model for the 2012 model year. The GranTurismo Convertible for sale will offer a more powerful, responsive, and  efficient engine, a faster transmission, and a revised suspension. Think of it as a  convertible a version of the  MC but without the nifty aerodynamic body aids.

The more fuel-efficient 4.7-liter V-8 makes a jump in power thanks to Maserati's  Friction Reduction Program. By reducing friction amongst the engine’s moving parts, the GranTurismo Convertible gains 11 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque while reducing fuel consumption by 6 percent. It will also be outfitted with a six-speed automatic  transmission and tweaked Skyhook active-suspension system.

The Sport separates itself from the base car with its black grille, black-tinted  headlamps, and redesigned body-colored side skirts.

The Sport is not for the faint of heart and most definitely represents a true  enthusiast’s automobile. The exterior presents a unique and refined image of an ideal sporting vehicle with a sloping hood and aggressive styling. Powering the  beauty is a 4.7-liter V8 that makes 454 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque,  giving the GranTurismo Sport a top track speed of 185 mph. The output level of the  V8 can be increased by initiating sport mode all while unleashing the GranTurismo's full potential. The interior is upholstered in fine Italian leather and all gauges are analog.
