The fiberglass bodywork is finished in Titanium Silver with Diamond Black stripes. Features include a chrome-finished roll hoop, bumperettes, and side pipes. A CSX plaque is affixed to the transmission tunnel, and Carroll Shelbyâs signature decorates the glovebox door. This 1999 Shelby Series 1 is number 263 produced by Shelby American, and it is finished in silver over black and gray leather and powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Features include a black soft top, air conditioning, pushrod suspension, carbon-fiber bodywork, a Monsoon stereo, 18â³ wheels, power accessories, multi-piston brake calipers, heated mirrors, and Shelby-branded floor mats. The Series 1 was designed by Shelby American and was manufactured at the companyâs facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The carbon-fiber and fiberglass laminate bodywork is mounted on an aluminum chassis, and this example is finished in silver. The interior features bolstered seats with black leather upholstery, gray inserts, and embroidered Shelby signatures. Carbon-fiber trims the shift knob, and amenities include air conditioning, a Monsoon stereo with cassette and CD players, and power windows and locks.The Oldsmobile-sourced 4.0-liter Aurora L47 V8 was rated at 320 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new, and the engine bay features carbon-fiber trim. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle made by RBT with ZF components.

Offered Without Reserve | $325,000 - $375,000 USD   One of 562 Shelby GT350s built in 1965 Documented by the SAAC Registry; serial number-verified Beautifully presented example of a highly desirable first year GT350    Please note, this lot is registered in Canada and import duty will be applicable to all countries outside of Canada, including the United States.  Also, this vehicle is titled as a Ford Mustang.    The Ford Mustang made its highly anticipated debut on 17 April 1964 at the New York World's Fair. Well-received by the public with its sleek styling and litany of customizable options, the Mustang was initially offered in convertible and two-door hardtop body styles, with the addition of a sportier 2+2 fastback design in the Fall of 1964. As part of the introduction speech to the press, Ford's then vice-president Lee Iacocca made a point to state the Mustang would be, a sports car suitable for street use or competition.   Iacocca knew the only way to create a performance image for the new Mustang was to achieve it in racing. He turned to Carroll Shelby, who at the time was managing Ford's GT40 race program, and also coming off of a season in which his Daytona Cobra won the coveted World Sports Car Championship title in 1965. Shelby would accept the project and build on the success of the Cobra. The GT350, as the new Shelby Mustang would be called, upheld the performance pedigree of the brand, with the GT350R variant achieving SCCA B-Production champion status three times.  Shelby used Ford's K-code Mustang fastback as the base for the project. For 1965 GT350s, all were finished in Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue rocker stripes. The team at Shelby American further equipped the K-code with a fiberglass hood, upgraded front and rear suspension setups, a lightweight aluminum T-10 gearbox, and a Detroit locker rear axle. The K-code engine itself received an aluminum intake, Holley carburetor, and tri-y headers. The interior would be stripped of the back seats to meet the two-seat sports car SCCA requirements, replaced by a fiberglass package tray to house the spare. A center-mounted dash pod was added with Shelby tachometer and oil pressure gauges, and a wood-grain steering wheel was installed along with a momentary horn switch on the dash. Optional equipment included over the top Le Mans stripes and Shelby/Cragar wheels. The result was a production class-racing powerhouse that easily met the challenge from other cars of the day, including Ford's American rival, the Chevrolet Corvette. Shelby American produced only 562 GT350s in 1965, and they are considered the most desirable year of the model.   This 1965 Shelby GT350, chassis number SFM 5S226, was received at Shelby American on 7 May 1965 with work starting on the car that very same day. The car was completed on 13 May 1965. It was ordered on 1 June 1965 and three days later shipped via rail to Adamson Ford, Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama; the dealership was invoiced $3,716.45, including freight. According to the SAAC Registry, Betty Culp of Texas was the first owner. By October of 1978 it was purchased by Lee Larsen of Shreveport, Louisiana. A Louisiana state inspection sticker remains in the file from 1990, presumably from Mr. Larsen's ownership.   The car was eventually purchased by Lee Herrington of Bow, New Hampshire, owner of the Herrington mail order company. According to the SAAC Registry, during his ownership the car was restored by Fitzgerald Motorsports of Laconia, New Hampshire, and would even grace the cover of a Herrington catalogue.   By the early 2000s the GT350 was purchased by noted collector and Ruxton expert Jim Fasnacht of Houston, Texas. Under Mr. Fasnacht's ownership the R-style front apron was removed, replaced with a stock apron and bumper, concours-correct hoses and clamps were installed, correct decals were applied to parts, the car was rewired with a factory harness, a new rear fastback window was made with the proper date code, a set of period-style blue dot tires were mounted, all this along with refinishing or replacement of a number of other parts. Invoices of the work done under Mr. Fasnacht's ownership are on file.   In March of 2013 the GT350 was purchased by the Dare to Dream Collection. The exterior presents beautifully, fully detailed in the legendary shade of Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue Le Mans stripes. Like the exterior the engine bay is just as nicely finished, and the glorious notes of the engine can be heard through side exit exhausts just aft of the doors. The interior features a radio, wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Shelby GT350 gauge pod which houses the tachometer and oil pressure gauges, Rupert Industries lap belts, and Coco Mats.  The confidential Ford serial number on the driver side fender has been verified by SAAC registrar Howard Pardee, document on file. Additionally, the SFM number stamp is visible on the passenger side fender. It should be noted that the car's engine is an unstamped block, and the casting code has been concealed. The engine features cylinder heads with castings 20 and 21, a dual-point distributor, and a Holley 715-cfm carburetor. The engine is mated to a four-speed Borg Warner T-10 transmission (casting code T10B-1). Power is sent to a rear axle with a third member that is believed to be from a later Ford.   One of 562 Shelby GT350s built for 1965, this remains a sought-after model for Shelby and muscle car collectors alike. Shelby Cobra 289 FIA Bondurant Edition (1 of 12) is a historically accurate continuation roadster based on the car piloted by world-champion driver Bob Bondurant from the 1964 race season.

This tribute is built to exacting standards with period-correct features identical to the original cars as they raced … including the same frame, leaf spring suspension, 14-gallon fuel tank, 16-inch original-style wood rim steering wheel, driver's race seat, high-beam activation switch, diagonal roll bar, knock-off spinners, Shelby American CSX2000 serial-numbered dash plaque, and original-style engine bay chassis number plate.

On the outside it includes a front air dam (chin spoiler), bug deflector, transverse nose stripe, painted roundels and race numbers, painted quick jacks and country of origin plate.

On the interior it includes mirror position, leather seats, passenger grab bar, and period-correct dash layout, gauges and switches.

When it came to decide on an engine, there was only one choice. Shelby Engine Company made a brand-new 364ci V8 engine that puts out 500 HP with 4 Weber 48 IDA carburetors and matching-numbers aluminum block.

Trimmed in Shelby's famous black-finned valve cover package and period-correct Harrison coolant tank, the engine is mated to a TREMEC TKX 5-speed manual transmission. All the power is firmly planted to the ground through Avon CR6ZZ tires.

Front end and rear fenders are protected by a brand new clear bra PPF.

Offered Without Reserve | $150,000 - $200,000 USD   Exceptionally well-documented with Shelby order form, dealer invoice, and Deluxe Marti Report Retains numbers matching 428 cu.-in. Assembled 10 days ahead of schedule on 21 February 1969, this 1969 Shelby GT500 left the factory finished as it is today, in Acapulco Blue over black trim with Clarion Knit and Corinthian Vinyl Hi-Back seats. The car was further equipped with an automatic transmission, air conditioning, sport deck rear seat, tilt-away steering wheel, AM/FM radio, and tinted glass.   Upon delivery to Gerber-Payne Ford of Fremont, Michigan on 4 March 1969, the car was retained as a dealer demonstrator, where it accumulated just under 7,000 miles before being sold to its first owner later that year. While its first owner's identity has been lost to history, this GT500's lineage picks up again with Jack Owne of Wisconsin in the 1980s before reportedly passing to his relative, Robin Thede of Toronto, Ontario before the end of the decade. Thede never used the car, instead storing it indoors until 2007 when it was acquired by the AutoDream Group of Niagara Falls, Ontario.  AutoDream promptly launched a 12-month rotisserie restoration, which began by stripping the car to bare metal. Owing to its decades of indoor storage, the body reportedly needed minimal repair before receiving a refinish in its factory Acapulco Blue with white stripes. Accompanying photographs document both the restoration process and the car's exceptional level of preservation pre-restoration. During the restoration, the car was confirmed to retain its numbers-matching 428-cubic-inch Cobra Jet engine. A Deluxe Marti Report, partial factory build sheet, and copies of the car's Shelby GT500 Individual Order form and Shelby Automotive Dealer Invoice accompany the sale, as do a bevy of recent service records.  Listed in the Shelby American Automobile Club Registry, and possessing a fascinating level of documentation, the Dare to Dream Collection's 1969 Shelby GT500 offers an opportunity to acquire a particularly choice Shelby Mustang from the firm's highly refined final chapter. /font size = "4"40th Anniversary 427 S/C Cobra Limited production, #18 of 40 Aluminum body 427 C.I. Aluminum engine,  550 HP  Powerful, lightweight, and an American icon, the Shelby 427 Cobra was the brainchild of sports car builder Carroll Shelby. While the original CSX3000 series of 427 Cobras ended production in 1967, the insatiable appetite for Cobras from the public around the world did not. During this time, many companies tried to make similar examples using Shelby's tried-and-true formula of lightweight cars with massively powerful engines but were never true Shelby Cobras. Then in 1996, almost three decades after the last original 427 Cobra rolled off the production line, the new CSX4000 series was born. Now offered by Shelby American, Inc., no Cobra kit manufacturer could offer what the American company now produced: True Shelby authenticity.  CSX4000 series cars were offered in both fiberglass and aluminum-bodied forms, with the aluminum examples being rare, almost doubling the purchase price of the car due to their labor-intensive hand-formed panels. These Shelby Cobras were delivered to authorized dealers as rolling chassis for the final fitment of the engine and transmission, allowing the new owner to choose a power plant and transmission of their choice.  Since 1962, when Carroll Shelby built the first Cobra, many companies have tried to make a copy of this iconic sports car. Most are offered in kit form, and the customer is left to assemble or build the car themselves. Beginning in the late 1990s, Carroll himself decided that he would produce a continuation Cobra, featuring a hand-crafted aluminum body, 4-inch round tube chassis, and many of the same mechanical components as the original 427 Cobras had. In 2002, Carroll Shelby authorized a run of 40 CSX 4000 Cobras to be produced with special features to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first Cobra. This car is #18 of only 40 anniversary Cobras produced.  Exterior features include special "Anniversary Blue" paint, street bumpers with overrides sun visors, wind wings, chrome roll bar, ceramic coated side pipes, and a cooling splitter in the grille opening.  Interior features include leather seats and dash, 40th-anniversary commemorative gauges and floor mats, door pockets, glove box (signed by Carroll Shelby), heater/defroster, ashtray, lighter, and shoulder belts.  The drivetrain consists of an all-aluminum 427 big block engine mated to a big shaft Top Loader 4-speed transmission. The independent rear differential features an aluminum center section housing 3.54:1 gears.  Included with the car is the original M.S.O. signed by Carroll Shelby, build photos, and receipts.  The Shelby CSX cars are the only Cobras to be licensed by Shelby American and are documented and included in the Shelby American Automobile Club World Registry.  This 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 has been meticulously cared for and recently underwent significant maintenance and upgrades. In August 2022, the fuel system received a thorough overhaul, with the fuel cell inspected and fuel cell foam replaced by Fuel Safe, a carburetor rebuild, and the installation of a new fuel pressure gauge and filter.  Upon arriving at Canepa, the cobra was inspected from front to back and given a checklist of what items needed to be addressed. The car was given a full mechanical inspection and servicing as needed, then sent to our detailing department where it was given a full detailing. The blue paint finish was polished using only foam pads to bring a deep luster to the surface. The interior was thoroughly cleaned, leaving it spotless and in excellent condition.  This Cobra is not just a collector's dream; it's a remarkable driving experience with a blend of classic charm and modern reliability.
