Ferrari is offering a special 599 GTB called the 599 GTB 60F1 to commemorate the company’s 60 years of Formula One. The 599 GTB 60F1 is based on the Handling GT Evoluzione (HGTE) package and will come in three different color palettes designed to honor two specific racing wins. The 375 F1 livery is the same dark red color as Froilan Gonzalez's 375 F1 when he brought home the trophy at the 1951 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Ferrari 150° Italia and Ferrari 150° Italia 2 celebrate Fernando Alonso's win this summer at Silverstone. Ferrari 150° Italia features the Scuderia 2011 red used on the Ferrari 150° Italia racecar. Formula One White accents are used on hood stripes, front apron, a design behind the front wheels, and stretching up the A-pillars and down the C-pillars. It also features the Italian flag’s colors on a small strip that runs the below the lip of the trunk lid. The Ferrari 150° Italia 2 limits the white accent to the lower bumper and drops the tricolor on the rear.



All 599 GTB 60F1s will feature satin-finished aluminum gas cap, 20-inch diamond-finished ally rims, and Scuderia Ferrari shields on the front quarter panels.

The seats in the 599 GTB 60F1 are by Recaro for the American version and are upholstered in Alcantara with SuperFabric inserts. The seats feature a Ferrari logo stitched into the headrests, and four-point safety harnesses dressed in red and blue. The instrument panel is trimmed in matte-finish Alutex—an aluminum glass fiber material—and features a silver commemorative plaque with the signatures of both Gonzalez and Alonso.



The 599 GTB 60F1 is based on the HGTE handling package. Ferrari says it provides tighter handling, sharper cornering, and improved responsiveness while still being easy to drive. To accomplish this, Ferrari added stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the magnetorheological shock absorbers when the manettino is at its sportier settings. The ride height was also been lowered. The package also includes specifically optimized tires featuring a compound that offers even better grip.
