Everything in Texas is bigger, including the price you have to pay for a specialty plate. In an auction held at the Cowboy’s stadium in Arlington by the state of Texas and My Plates, a private vender that helps the Texas government market and sell customized plates, a “Ferrari” plate brought in the biggest bid, passing under the hammer for $15,000. It was one of 33 plates that were sold, which also included “COWBOYS” and “GO HORNS” plates.
