McLaren has announced six of the initial 10 dealers that will make up its dealership network. No word yet if these dealers will be providing standalone showrooms (which we doubt considering the number and variety of units McLaren plans to offer) or be bundled with other well-known brands. For instance, McLaren Beverly Hills will be run by the Auto Gallery, which has a network of three dealerships that sell Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, Audis, and BMWs.
The headquarters for McLaren’s U.S. operations will be in New York City and very close to its Greenwich, Connecticut, dealership run by Miller Motorcars. The remaining locations will be in Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; San Francisco, California; and McLaren Tampa Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida, and run by Dew Luxury Motor Cars. Other dealerships are planned for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Miami, Florida; Toronto, Ontario; and Orange County, California. McLaren hopes it can sell 300–400 units a year through these dealerships.
Besides the MP4-12C, McLaren plans to offer a Porsche 911-slayer in the near future.
