Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo announced yesterday that a 599 Hybrid will debut at the Geneva Motor Show and will see production. This may upset some hardcore Ferrari fans, but is a road we all saw coming. Ferrari filed patents for a new type of hybrid technology in mid-2009 and announced soon after that it would be using hybrid technology in the future. Our outlook is that hybrid technology will become a part of every car in some way in the near future to help lower emissions, increase performance, and cut fuel consumption.
