According to Sports Car Market, the most expensive Lamborghini ever sold at auction is a 1973 Miura P400 SV that went for $962,500. In fact, out of the top ten most expensive Lamborghinis to ever be sold at an auction, the Lamborghini Miura model takes up nine of the 10 spots. The one exception is a 1976 Countach LP400 that sold for $533,500.
In comparison, a 1957 Ferrari 250 TR went for $12,156,252, making it not only the most expensive Ferrari ever sold, but the most expensive car ever sold at auction.
With the new $1-million+ Reventon coupes and Roadsters and $484,045 Murcielago LP670-4 SVs on the market, it is hard to believe these Lamborghini records won’t be quickly demolished.
