After Chevrolet announced that it would be selling the ZR1 engine as a crate motor, we knew it would find its way into all sorts of aftermarket packages. One such package is the Hennessey HPE700. For this package, Hennessey took the LS9 supercharged V-8 and dropped it into the new 2010 Camaro. Not satisfied with the engines standard 620 hp, it tuned the 6.2-liter engine to a total of 705 hp and 717 lbs-ft of torque.
Other interesting additions include 15-inch carbon ceramic brakes, an upgraded suspension, and HRE alloy rims complete with Michelin PS2 rubber. To make sure everyone knows this is not a normal 400-hp Camaro, Hennessey added a complete ground effects kit, a ZR1-like hood, and a new front fascia. Price is set at a ZR1-topping $109,500.
