Details on the Murcielago SuperVeloce or SV have emerged and it looks like it will not be losing its four-wheel drive system in favor of rear-wheel drive, like we originally predicted. The car is supposed to be called the LP670-4 SV, will lose approximately 200 lbs. for a curb weight of 3761 lbs., and will gain 30 hp for a total of 660 hp.
The zero-to-sixty time should be 3.2 seconds and top speed should be near 212 mph. A member of FerrariChat.com, with inside information, noted that the car would be announced in March 2009, with deliveries starting in June.
