Below you will find an internal memo (or so it is claimed) from within Ferrari SpA. The letter is written in English and has some very juicy details on the upcoming Enzo replacement, code named the FX150. Really, they are almost too juicy to believe, but here is to hope!
In the memo, the writer very directly says the car will have a twin-turbocharged V-8 mounted mid-longitudinally. Power is calculated at 795 hp and 569 lb-ft of torque. The zero–62 mph time is declared to be 2.7 seconds and the top speed is allegedly 242 mph. This means the top-dog Ferrari won’t outrun the Veyron on the Bonneville Sand Flats—but something tells me it never put the crosshairs on making that claim. Weight has been kept down to a mere 2,866 pounds and it will cost €1.3 million or so we are made to believe.
