Facelifted Boxster and Cayman revealed

Debuting at the L.A. Auto show are the mildly-revised 2009 Porsche Boxster and Cayman models. Like the 2009 911, the Cayman’s and Boxster’s changes are hard to spot; even for some enthusiasts. The 2009 tweaks include new head lamps, tail lamps, rear diffuser and some minor cosmetic changes in the cabin.

Both cars receive a power boost in both their standard and optional engines. The Cayman now creates the most out of the duo to help justify its price premium over the Boxster. The 2.9-liter F-6 is standard in both cars and now makes 265 hp in the Cayman and 255 in the Boxster.  The Cayman S and Boxster S, equipped with the 3.4-liter F-6, now produce 320 and 310 hp, respectively.

Both cars will now take advantage of Porsche’s dual-clutch PDK transmission that was just released in the 2009 911. The PDK is able to shift so quick, acceleration times with the PDK are faster than that of the manual-equipped cars. View more Porsche Cayman S and Boxster S pictures here.

Bentley Azure gains sporty T model

With the Arnage going the way of the Wooly Rhinoceros, the Azure model is not far behind. In what must be an effort to bring in some last-minute sales, Bentley has just unveiled the Bentley Azure T. The T basically gets the same engine found in the Arnage T, a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 making 500 horsepower and an earth-shaking 738 lb-ft of torque. That much power is capable of propelling the 6,000+ pound car up to sixty miles per hour in 5.2 seconds, while simultaneously embarrassing every Mustang GT along the way. Once the twisty roads hit, however, expect the Azure T to wallow through every turn.

Grab the first 2009 BMW 750Li in the Neiman Marcus catalog

BMW will be offering a special-edition 750Li through the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book this holiday season to honor the car’s 31st anniversary. Since it is the car’s 31st anniversary, BMW will only be offering 31 cars through the catalog.

The Neiman Marcus Limited-Edition 750Li will have special iridescent ‘Diopside Black’ metallic paintwork and ‘Champagne Merino’ leather interior with contrasting piping and trim. BMW’s team also accented the interior with Piano Black trim elements and a new steering wheel. Each buyer that purchases a car when the catalog goes live in October 2008 will be able to take delivery of the car from the BMW Welt center in Munich, Germany in April 2009. If you take delivery of the car in Germany, BMW will also include a complimentary road trip through Monaco, Nice, and Cannes and a tour of the BMW factory.

The 2009 BMW 750Li will not make its North American public debut until  the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
